After the game ended, Lakers owner Jerry Buss specifically invited Aaron to the bar for some leisure.

In high spirits, Aaron gladly went along with Britney Spears.

"Jerry, it seems the new arena hasn't brought the Lakers any luck, has it?"

At the bar, Aaron teased him with a smile.

Jerry Buss looked somewhat helpless. "We clearly hired the championship-winning head coach Phil Jackson and brought in Scottie Pippen, the league's best small forward."

"We also have top-tier center Hakeem Olajuwon, so why can't our results improve?"

In this year's lockout-shortened season, Scottie Pippen's performance had left Jerry Buss with little confidence. His annual salary of over ten million US dollars felt like money thrown away.

Aaron took a sip of his drink. "Actually, there's something I don't understand. Why did the Los Angeles Clippers move into Staples Center too?"

"Two teams sharing one arena is unique in the entire NBA!"

It was understandable for the NHL's Los Angeles Kings or the WNBA's Los Angeles Sparks to play at Staples Center.

But the Los Angeles Clippers were an NBA team too, yet they actually shared a home arena with the Lakers?

Jerry Buss spread his hands and smiled. "Do you think Donald Sterling has the ability to build an arena exclusively for himself?"

"True enough." Whenever Aaron thought of the Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling and his various labels—Scrooge, Jewish sex maniac, racist, and the like—he was left speechless.

That guy was an absolute disgrace among NBA owners!

When the Clippers first came to Los Angeles, they played at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in the university district. Later, to cut costs, they moved to Anaheim's Honda Center and
