"Phew! I'm exhausted. If I had known this job was so dangerous, I shouldn't have taken it in the first place!"

The Black-clothed person complained as he walked toward the sofa in the center of the living room.

"I'll pounce!"

After reaching the left side of the sofa, the Black-clothed person abruptly stopped. She then turned right, facing the other end of the sofa. With that, she lunged forward, landing horizontally over the sofa like a swordfish, before slamming heavily onto it.

After sinking into the sofa for a while, the Black-clothed person pulled his head out of the sofa, then began to take off his bodysuit piece by piece and casually toss it aside.

"Whoosh!"

As luck would have it, one of the bodysuits was stuck to the cabinet where Sordil was hiding, completely blocking Old Suo view. When Old Suo carefully moved the clothes aside, the Black-clothed person, who had been lazily enjoying the afternoon like a seal, had vanished without a trace, leaving only clothes scattered all over the floor.

Just as Sordil was filled with questions, the cabinet door was suddenly opened, and a fair and slender arm reached in, reaching straight for Old Suo.

"Trying to ambush me? Dream on!"

Faced with the sudden attack, Old Suo didn't hesitate at all. He accelerated forward and successfully dodged the attack. Immediately afterward, Old Suo sprinted at full speed and flew out of the cabinet with lightning speed.

Alas! As the saying goes, "The cicadas know the wind before it blows, and death comes unexpectedly from hidden schemes." Although Old Suo's reflexes were top-notch, even with his calculated strategy, he couldn't escape the enemy's trap. And he was captured by something indescribable! (PS: Legend has it that if this indescribable thing is placed on a ghost's head, it will prevent them from reincarnating. PPS: Every girl has a lot of these; the most classic style starts with LS.)

"Hehe! I thought some reckless pervert had sneaked in to spy, but it turns out it's you, little rascal!"

Watching Sordil struggle in the indescribable object, a girl with purplish-red hair on one side said curiously.

"What are you covering me with? Why is there a..."

Before Old Suo could finish speaking, the girl lifted him up along with the indescribable object.

"What kind of creature are you? Why can you understand human language and even speak it?"

Seeing that the girl didn't answer his question but instead talked to herself, Old Suo angrily roared, "Little girl, didn't your parents teach you that you should answer other people's questions before asking them?"

Hearing Old Suo's roar, the girl seemed to remember something. She immediately grabbed Old Suo's wing with her right hand and then used her left hand to hide that indescribable thing behind her back. After doing this, the girl blushed and said shyly, "I'm sorry, that was something I just changed out of yesterday afternoon and hadn't had time to wash yet, so the smell might be a bit strong. I hope it didn't hurt you?" (My young master was even brought to tears by the smell, don't you think?)

After the girl finished explaining, Old Suo's face turned completely white. At the same time, he began to vomit incessantly, as if he were vomiting up all the food he had eaten last year.

"Holy crap! I've actually gotten myself hooked up to a woman's thing, and it's not even washed, ugh!" (Old Suo was internally crying and complaining at this moment.)

Although the girl didn't hear Old Suo's inner monologue, she could guess what Old Suo was thinking just by looking at Old Suo behavior. So, she said with a look of disgust, "So what if you're covered in panties? Is it really necessary to keep throwing up like that?" (Ta-da! The indescribable item... the correct answer is panties. Did you guess right?)

The girl's words struck Old Suo like an arrow, hitting him squarely where it hurt. Therefore, Old Suo decided to teach her a lesson with his full strength, to show her that he was a dragon yet to unleash its power, not a pet to be toyed with. (Damn it, don't think that just because you're cute, my Old Suo won't hit you!)

"Compression released!"

"Buzz!"

As Old Suo dispelled the Quality Magic on himself, his body began to grow at a visible rate, eventually transforming into a giant dragon three or four meters tall. It wasn't that Old Suo was being gentle and worried about injuring the girl; rather, his current actions couldn't be revealed, which was why he hadn't fully recovered. Even so, it was more than enough to utterly defeat his opponent.

"Dragon... Dragon?"

"Congratulations on getting it right, but I don't have any reward for you!"

Upon learning that the other party was indeed a dragon, the girl pulled something out from behind her and threw it at Old Suo, then turned and fled towards the gate not far away.

Upon seeing the hidden weapon thrown by the opponent, Old Suo's face turned green. He immediately raised his right hand towards the incoming object and shouted coldly, "Void Burst!"

"Buzz!"

A sudden ripple appeared in the space in front of Sordil, and the panties flying towards him were instantly shredded into powder, scattering in all directions. After dealing with this embarrassing object, Old Suo turned his attention to the culprit behind this series of events.

"Space Magic: Prison, Imprisonment"

The girl, who had already opened the door and was about to escape the house, instantly turned into a statue, standing frozen in place.

"Move!"

"Buzz!"

A spatial fluctuation appeared beside the girl, and then she vanished from in front of the door. When she reappeared, a large, furious dragon face filled her eyes. The door that the girl had opened was now closed again by the breeze created by Old Suo.

"Um... Mr. Dragon, why are you so angry? Can't we talk things out?"

Faced with the girl who was pretending to be stupid and grinning, Old Suo coldly said, "Answer my questions truthfully, or I'll strip you naked and throw you into a vat full of chili powder, and boil you into a spicy beauty!"

Hearing the other party's bizarre threat, the girl swallowed hard, then, with a mix of regret and fear, replied, "Mr. Dragon, please ask away, I will answer everything I know!" (Sigh! Girls are so terrifying, actually regretting not getting to eat the spicy version. They're even more ruthless than ruthless people!)

"So you're the subordinate of Ice Blade, Shadow?"

"What Ice Blade? I..."

Just as the girl finished speaking, Old Suo silently took out a large pot that could hold one or two people from his storage space and placed it next to the girl.

"Gulp!"

"Mr. Dragon, you have a discerning eye! Yes, I am Shadow!"

"Real name and occupation!"

"My real name is Tingmei Exa, and I am a bounty hunter and part-time assassin."

"Who is your master? Why are you going against the United Front Alliance?"

"Mr. Dragon, I was just hired by my master from the black market. I don't know his true identity, let alone why he is against the United Front Alliance."

After the girl finished speaking, Old Suo began pouring water into the large pot, and said coldly, "I'll ask you one last time, who is your master? Why are you going against the United Front Alliance?"

"Mr. Dragon, I'm not lying to you. I really don't know the master's identity, nor do I know why he's targeting the United Front Alliance!"

Where is your toilet?

Hearing Old Suo's abrupt question, the girl... uh, no, Tingmei didn't react for a moment. Only after a long pause did she belatedly say, "The toilet is to the left of the main entrance, you mean...?"

"Oh! Don't get me wrong! It's not that I need to go to the toilet, it's that I need to take you to the toilet, so that you don't accidentally put those things in the pot after I start cooking!"

With that, Old Suo pulled Tingmei toward the restroom. At this point, the female assassin truly broke down, crying uncontrollably with snot and tears streaming down her face.

"Mr. Dragon, I really didn't lie to you, I really didn't know my master's identity!"

"Mr. Dragon, if you don't believe me, I can take you to find your master. Then we can confront him face to face, and you'll know I haven't lied to you!"

Hearing this, Sordil finally stopped in his tracks. He turned around, scanned Tingmei up and down, and then said coldly, "Are you telling the truth? You're not lying to me?"

"I'll do anything if you're willing to spare my life!"

After Tingmei finished speaking, Old Suo's left corner of his mouth curled up slightly, giving his big face a slightly lewd smile.

"Sign here with your magic or your blood!"

Her assassin instincts told Tingmei that the parchment scroll presented to her was definitely not good. But when you're in a bind, you have to bow your head! So she bit her middle finger and signed her name on it.

"Buzz!"

After she signed her name, the parchment scroll transformed into two bright purple beams of light that flew into her forehead and the head of the dragon before her. (It's not that I didn't want to write "forehead," but upon reflection, Western Great Dragon really don't seem to have foreheads. If you don't believe me, you can recall what Black Dragon looks like.)

After a while, Tingmei opened her eyes and said respectfully, "Master, shall we set off now to find 'Master'?"

"That's right, let's set off now!"

"Then please come with me, Master!"

After saying this, Tingmei led Sordil away from home to find their former owner! (PS: Old Suo is very humane, so he gave Tingmei time to change clothes before they left. PPS: Old Suo is a decent person, so he didn't try to peek at her or anything!)

Just as Sordil subdued Tingmei and set off towards the mysterious cave, the Western Continent was also gradually finalizing its operational plan. A massive Tempest was silently gathering power, making its final preparations for sweeping across Ishgar and bringing utter despair.
