The Magic Council's Choice (Part 2)
Upon hearing the silver-haired boy's words, Zaka froze on the spot. He never imagined that King Erus, who had so easily seized the Bosco throne and annexed his painstakingly built Milantes Kingdom, was actually a boy about the same age as his daughter. (Heh heh! There are plenty of monarchs who have ruled as teenagers and swept across the land, but certainly not this Old Fairy, Sordil, who's pretending to be young. King Milantes, you've misjudged him!)
Just as Zaka and the others were stunned, a disgruntled shout came from the front of the black formation.
"King Milantes, His Majesty has accepted your surrender. What are you still kneeling there for? Quickly present the scepter, the crown, and the seal of command!" (Yelibell)
After being reminded by his chief of staff, Zaka finally remembered what he should do next. So, King Milantes... oops! The former King Milantes stood up from the ground, holding his scepter and seal in both hands, and bowed as he walked toward King Erus, who was not far away.
"King Erus, please accept the seal and scepter! (Zaka)"
Sordil reached out and took the two items that symbolized the highest power of the Milantes Kingdom. Old Suo then examined them carefully and, after confirming that they were correct, put them into his storage space.
Upon seeing Old Suo's move, Zaka was stunned for a few seconds, then he reached out and took off the crown from his head, handing it to Old Suo.
"King Erus, please accept the crown! (Zaka)"
Looking at his first pot of gold laid out before him, Old Suo took a deep breath, then solemnly accepted the crown with both hands, raising it high so that every member of the black formation behind him could see it. (Bosco Kingdom was seized for him by Red, so it cannot be considered his first pot of gold.)
"Long live!"
"Long live!"
Hearing the unified cheers coming from the black formation, Zaka was once again shaken, because he simply couldn't imagine what kind of method the young man in front of him used to train his soldiers so that they could be of one mind and act as one!
However, despite the shock, there are still things that need to be done and things that need to be said.
"King Erus, we have surrendered to you and hope that you will keep your previous promise!"
Old Suo reached out and helped Zaka up, then said, "King Milantes, you..."
"King Erus, there is no longer a King Milantes in this world, please just call me Zaka!"
Old Suo nodded and continued, "Zaka, rest assured, I will never go back on my promise!"
"King Erus!"
After Zaka finished expressing his gratitude, Sordil turned around and ordered the black formation, "First First Heavenly King Guard, immediately escort Zaka and the others back to the palace!"
"Yes!"
"The Second and Heavenly King Guard shall immediately take over the defense of Kaipel Sand!"
"Yes!"
"Fourth and Heavenly King Guard, hold your ground and prevent the remaining enemy from escaping!"
"Yes!"
"The Heavenly King Guard, follow me into the city to subdue the Magic Council!" (The Heavenly King Guard is the guard exclusively belonging to Yelibell. The Heavenly King Guard belongs to the Sage Dragon; therefore, it is the Seventh, not the Sixth.)
"Yes, sir!"
As new combat orders were issued, the neat black formation began to disintegrate and then began to operate in an orderly manner.
Her gaze swept past the wall of people around her, landing on the silver-haired figure aboard the pale blue wind-borne boat. Shirley felt as if she had entered a dream from the depths of her memory. In an instant, a strange emotion welled up from the bottom of her heart, turning her fiery heart into a pink heart, which was reflected in her pupils.
Seeing her daughter almost turn her neck 180 degrees and press her eyes against someone else's body, the observant Queen instantly guessed what the Her Highness the Princess thinking.
"Alas! What a tragic fate!" (The Queen's inner thoughts)
After sighing inwardly for her daughter, Her Highness the Queen embraced the Princess and led her forward.
Just as the First Heavenly King Guard escorted Zaka and the others into Kaipel Sand, Sordil led the Six Heavenly Kings and the Heavenly King Guard into Kaipel Sand from the air aboard a wind-borne boat, heading straight for the branch of the Magic Council located there.
"You naughty boy, isn't this your first time here?" (Gilkunis)
"Yeah! What's wrong? (Old Suo)"
"You rascal, this old pervert wants to ask you, since this is your first time here, how do you know where the Magic Council's branch is located?!" (Woodman)
Although he was called by a nickname and had his lines stolen, Gilkunis was too lazy to argue with Woodman in order to satisfy his curiosity. Instead, he looked at Old Suo with a mixture of curiosity and doubt.
"Oh! So that's what you guys were curious about, old man Gilkunis! Actually, it's quite simple, it's just... (Old Suo)"
His Majesty the King had just finished speaking when Cheng Yaojin, the Number Two- Cheng Yaojin, suddenly appeared and stole his lines.
"Oh dear, you guys are so stupid! That rascal copied all of our abilities, so naturally he can hear other people's thoughts, just like Yelibell. That way, he can easily find those people in the Magic Council, so why would he need to know where the Magic Council located? (Hadessta)"
His Majesty the King, feeling a bit uncomfortable from having his words choked up, finally understood the pain of having his lines stolen and spoiled. However, given the relationship between the two, Old Suo could only smile and nod, then silently remind himself that next time he must speak faster and not give others the chance to steal his lines.
Upon seeing His Majesty the King nod in approval, Gilkunis and Woodman exclaimed in sudden realization, "Oh! I see!"
The commotion subsided, and everyone stood quietly on the windship, awaiting the arrival of the battle.
Southeast of Kaipel Sand, Magic Council Branch
Feeling the immense pressure from above, Leo knew the moment of battle had arrived, so he decisively gave the order to his subordinates to attack.
Upon receiving the order, the Magic Council members took their positions. The next second, the previously dimly lit, enclosed space suddenly became as bright as day, and at the same time, the sounds of machinery operating could be heard.
"Click click"
A short while later, the originally solemn and majestic Magic Council into four rotating cannons, which then sprayed white light bullets in all directions.
"Whoosh!"
"Boom!"
Under this widespread and indiscriminate attack, buildings were breached and reduced to ruins.
After successfully dodging the attack, Sordil looked at the destroyed city and roared, "These bastards, how dare they destroy my Capital of Thunder! They're scoundrels!"
After roaring, Old Suo channeled the blue-purple energy within him, and the world turned black and white. The next second, His Majesty the King vanished from the windship in a burst of silver-white light, disappearing without a trace.
Underground of the Magic Council, Rotating Cannon Control Room
"Buzz"
A flash of silver light appeared, and then a silver-haired boy appeared in the small control room.
"Snort!"
He snorted coldly at the frozen Magic Council members, then Old Suo the ball of lightning in his hand toward the control panel not far away.
"Whoosh!"
Just as the orb of light was about to hit the control panel, Old Suo reached his limit and was stripped of control of time by the world.
"Boom!"
The lightning ball struck the control panel, triggering a series of explosions. The next second, the control panel and the operator sitting in front of it were torn to pieces by the blast.
"Dragon Slayer Secret Art Technique: Death Rhapsody - Soul Surge"
"Buzz!"
Before Leo and the others could recover from the explosion, a cold voice rang out in the control room, followed by a cloud of gray-black smoke that filled the entire room.
"Cough cough!"
"Puff!"
After being enveloped by the Black Mist, coughing and spitting blood echoed in the control room, and then the Magic Council members inside collapsed one by one.
"Call out!"
Just when His Majesty the King thought the job was done, a dark purple sword shot out from the Black Mist, heading straight for his face.
"Hmm? There were still some who slipped through the net!"
After his initial surprise, His Majesty the King opened his mouth and swallowed the dark purple sword.
"Whoosh!"
The next second, a silver-white afterimage Counter Charge along the direction of the dark purple sword.
"Bang!"
A moment later, the sounds of fists and feet colliding came, followed by the sound of a heavy object falling to the ground from the depths of the Black Mist.
After placing the upgraded Healing Potion on his left chest, Old Suo glanced at the red-haired elder on the ground and said in alarm, "It seems I underestimated everyone... Uh... Luckily, I have the upgraded Healing Potion, otherwise, I would be in big trouble!"
After spending a few minutes healing his injuries, His Majesty the King raised his right hand and launched an attack towards the top of his head.
"Boom!"
A bright yellow beam of light broke through layers of barriers and reached the ground, guiding the six Heavenly Kings who were searching for the king.
After a while, a rough voice came from above.
"You naughty boy, are you alright?" (Radel)
"Don't worry, Old Man Radel, I'm fine!" (Old Suo)
"Oh! That's good! That's good! (Radel)"
"You naughty boy, we've captured the Magic Council members on the ground. How's the situation on your end? (Hadessta)"
"I've taken care of things here too, Old Man Hadessta. Hurry up and send some men down to arrest them!" (Old Suo)
"Alright! We'll send people down right away! (Hadessta, Radel)"
After informing Hadessta and the others of the situation, Old Suo approached the red-haired elder. He then retrieved a pair of shackles made of Magic Sealing Stone from his storage space and bound the elder's hands. Having done this, Old Suo began using Healing Magic to help the elder regain his senses.
"Uh-huh!"
With a painful nasal sound, the red-haired old man slowly opened his eyes.
Upon seeing the old man awaken, Old Suo lifted him up.
"If I'm not mistaken, you must be Councilor Leo, who is in charge of this branch, right?"
"Ahem! King Erus, you went to all that trouble to wake me up, just to ask this pointless question, didn't you? (Leo)"
"That's right, that's why I woke you up. Now can you answer me? (Sordil)"
"Heh! I never expected the famous King Erus to act so casually! (Leo)"
"That's right, I am Leo... (Leo)"
Just as the word "O" left Leo's mouth, a bluish-white wind blade slid across his neck, and then he went to join Milligan.
