A Few Things Before the Harvest Festival (Part 2)

Looking at the Fire Dragon lying on the ground, the blue-haired shorty hiding behind the side door sighed emotionally. "Lucy is amazing. She actually faced such a terrifying guy and still took Natsu down so easily!"

"Hey, hey... That's because Natsu wasn't in top form, right? (Jade)"

After shakily getting to his feet, Natsu said weakly, "Let's just head back. I feel really awful!"

Though she had lunged forward with all her might, Lucy had still underestimated Natsu's speed. In the end, she only managed to grab the scarf trailing behind him.

"Go work already, or I won't be able to pay this month's rent!"

As Golden Softie tipped backward, the oxygen-deprived Natsu turned into a rooster before dawn, continuously letting out "cock-a-doodle-doo" sounds.

As Lucy kept pulling, the scarf slipped free, and both of them crashed onto the floor.

"Hey, Lucy, Natsu, are you okay? (Happy)"

Rubbing his head, the Fire Dragon climbed back up and once again staggered toward the exit.

"Happy, I think I'd be better off lying in bed today!"

Watching this unfold, Golden Softie stood there dumbfounded for a long while. In the end, she could only return to the notice board and look for another job.
