Ch. 348Eclipse Plan Begins (Final Chapter)

Zeref and the others reached Mildian Academy, uncovered Sordil’s information about Eclipse, and learned they could use it to travel to another era and prepare Dragon Slayer Mages to defeat the Black Dragon. After Anna’s family made her the right person to guide the future travelers, the group built Eclipse and sent her through the Gate with hope for both eras.

  • Zeref and the others traveled for three days to Mildian Academy and followed his lead to the library where Sordil had hidden his information.
  • Zeref dispelled the illusion over the library, revealing a Magic Array and the plans for Eclipse, a device for traveling between eras where an Eclipse had been built.
  • Zeref explained that Eclipse could not take them back to save Sordil and the others, but could send them to another era to train Dragon Slayer Mages to defeat the Black Dragon.
  • Zeref promised to find a way to suppress Dragon Slayer Magic’s side effects and said someone else would need to guide the mages through time; he then learned Anna was married and had children.
  • Anna built Eclipse with Igneel and the others’ help, Zeref completed the Soul Dragon Secret Technique, and Anna opened the Eclipse Gate beneath a blood moon to carry hope to another era.

Ch. 349Life Inside the Giant Egg

Trapped inside the giant egg, Sordil absorbed rainbow energy and eventually opened a second rainbow egg, releasing Ankhseram's Curse before the prison guards contained it. After a long period of absorbing the prison's resources, Sordil underwent a transformation that restored his ability to move, speak, and see, but his excitement led him to bang his head against the eggshell.

  • Sordil studied the two rainbow eggs inside him, and the first released a blue-violet orb that merged with him and briefly took him to a palace, where a masked blonde woman noticed his power.
  • The rainbow energy tightened its restraint on Sordil, then relaxed it after he absorbed some of its energy; Sordil made escape attempts and waited for the second egg to open as daily routines.
  • Sordil absorbed increasing amounts of rainbow energy, then devoured the second egg's shell and released Ankhseram's Curse, which the prison guards recaptured before isolating him behind a rainbow barrier.
  • Sordil abandoned attempts to open more eggs and absorbed every usable resource in the prison until a painful transformation restored his ability to move, speak, and see.
  • Overcome with excitement at being able to move again, Sordil slapped himself and repeatedly hit his head against the eggshell.

Ch. 350Power of the Beginningless

Sordil absorbed the seven-colored barrier and discovered that his Magic Sources had fused into a giant source, which let him stop time and absorb 'Contradiction.' He named his transformed power the Power of the Beginningless as he prepared to test its capabilities.

  • Sordil absorbed the seven-colored energy barrier, but his Magic Sources disappeared and he became trapped with his hand stuck to the barrier.
  • After eating and drinking to recover, Sordil discovered that his Magic Sources had fused into one giant source and successfully used Fire Dragon Slayer Magic.
  • Sordil wished he could stop time, and the world turned black and white; he then used that ability while opening Pandora's Box again.
  • Sordil stopped time when 'Contradiction' attacked, found the sphere hovering over his head, and absorbed it despite its resistance.
  • Sordil watched 'Contradiction' split in two and merge into his giant Magic Source, then named the source the Power of the Beginningless.

Ch. 351Poaching Zeref's Talent

Sordil discovered that his fused magic could heal injuries and reached Irene through the giant egg, but his attacks could not break free. After helping Irene regain her human form and persuading her to delay Erza’s birth, he sent Belserion to retrieve August, the infant son of his old friend.

  • Sordil tested the fused magic and found that it healed injuries, forehead growths, and stamina problems.
  • Sordil contacted Irene and tried several powerful attacks against the egg, but could not escape.
  • Over the following months, Sordil learned from Irene that he had slept for more than three hundred years and that she had undergone dragonification; he taught her and Belserion Transformation Magic.
  • Irene regained her human form, and Sordil persuaded her and Belserion to delay Erza’s birth.
  • Sordil ordered Belserion to monitor Fairy Tail guild master Precht in Magnolia and bring back the baby he left behind, later identified as the son of Sordil’s old friend.
  • Belserion set off to retrieve the child after reminding Irene to address her dragonification, and Irene promised she would cure herself.

Ch. 352The Unfortunate Sage Dragon

Precht found Mavis unconscious and discovered she was carrying a child, whom he abandoned in a cradle after deciding not to keep him. The Sage Dragon took the baby to Irene and Sordil, while a mysterious figure watched him leave; Irene scolded the Sage Dragon for how he had handled the child.

  • Precht found Mavis collapsed outside Fairy Tail, discovered she still had a faint heartbeat, and brought her to the guild basement.
  • Precht examined Mavis and suspected Ankhseram's Curse, then spent months trying to wake her before learning she carried a new life.
  • Precht delivered the baby, struggled over whether to keep him, and left him in a roadside cradle with a letter and coins.
  • The Sage Dragon followed Precht, took the abandoned baby after confirming Precht had left, and flew away as a hidden figure watched.
  • The Sage Dragon brought the baby to Irene and Sordil, and Irene angrily scolded him before agreeing to Sordil's proposed punishment.

Ch. 353Fairy Queen Is Born!

Sordil remained trapped inside a giant egg while his allies secured the Bosco Kingdom and watched over Fairy Tail’s Precht. By X765, Irene gave birth to Erza as Sordil still struggled to break out of his shell.

  • Sordil told the Sage Dragon to arrange supplies for a baby and have his allies take control of the Bosco Kingdom.
  • Red and Tingmei visited Sordil, and Tingmei’s embarrassing claims about his old wish angered Irene, who left with baby August.
  • Red revealed that he and Tingmei had already taken control of the kingdom, and Sordil ordered them to monitor Precht without attacking him or Fairy Tail.
  • Sordil remained unable to crack the egg for years, worrying that he would miss Erza’s birth and the events involving Irene and Zeref.
  • Tingmei called for hot water during Irene’s labor, and August used magic to heat a ball of water for her.
  • Irene gave birth to Erza while Sordil was still trapped inside the egg, and August, the Sage Dragon, and Red celebrated.

Ch. 354Farewell, Big Shot

Sordil asked Irene to send their daughter Erza to a village church, prompting an angry dispute before they spoke privately. After Irene left in tears and August was summoned, Sordil broke out of the egg, met the masked woman who had caused his death, and was sent back with a thicker eggshell as punishment.

  • Irene stormed out after Sordil asked her to send Erza to a nearby village church, and Tingmei drew the marked lot that sent her to speak with him.
  • Sordil sent Tingmei to bring Irene back, while August, Red, and the Sage Dragon were exposed for rigging the lots and left to fetch her.
  • Irene returned with the bruised Red and his companions, spoke privately with Sordil, then hurried away with red eyes; Sordil summoned August to handle a task.
  • The giant egg cracked with seven-colored light, and Sordil vanished from inside it after arranging Erza's affairs.
  • Sordil encountered the masked woman who had accidentally killed him, argued with her, and was sent back to the egg.
  • The masked woman made the eggshell thicker and warned Sordil that she would take everything back if he angered her again.

Ch. 355Sordil Is Born!

Irene left her infant daughter Erza at a church, while Sordil was reborn and reunited with his companions. Sordil refused to bring Erza back until he was strong enough to protect her, revealed a plan to unite Ishgar against a coming threat, and told August that his father was Zeref.

  • Irene left Erza in a cradle outside the church after asking August to protect her, and a nun soon brought the baby inside.
  • On July 3rd, X765, Sordil emerged from the seven-colored egg, and Irene greeted him by biting his shoulder over their separation from Erza.
  • Sordil told August and the others that Erza had to remain at the church until he was strong enough to protect her, and said a crisis required them to unite Ishgar.
  • Sordil sent Irene and the others to say goodbye to Erza, then privately told August that his father was Zeref.

Ch. 356Becoming King (Part One)

Sordil returned to Philiers after four hundred years and reclaimed control of his old organization, using overwhelming force to make its members submit. He began outlining a future for them, while the arrival of the people he had sent to another world remained a plan for later.

  • Sordil explained that he had prepared an army as an emergency measure and said Heradi and the others would take time to bring back from another world.
  • Sordil and Red returned to Philiers, reminisced about their past, and drew a crowd by laughing together at the city gate.
  • At the Silver Moon Bar, Tingmei and Red gathered their subordinates and introduced Sordil as their master.
  • When the subordinates questioned the introduction, Sordil crushed them with pressure, and he killed a fat man who crawled toward him for help.
  • Sordil released the remaining subordinates, accepted their salutes, and began describing the future he had prepared for them.

Ch. 357Becoming King (Part 2)

Sordil and Rede overthrew the Lanlos king and began seizing control of Philiers, while Sordil declared that he intended to unite Ishgar against a powerful future enemy. The chapter ended with Sordil confronting Rede after realizing that Rede had called him unreliable.

  • The Royal Guard trapped King Yalijia Lanlos at the hunting grounds, where Rede and Sordil revealed that the throne belonged to Sordil, the former master of the Lanlos line.
  • Sordil killed Yalijia with spatial blades, and Rede led the Royal Guard back to the palace.
  • Sordil explained to Rede that they had to eliminate forces that divided Ishgar, including guilds and the Magic Council, to prepare for a greater enemy.
  • Sordil confronted the Magic Council's Second Restraining Force, killed one leader, and used Gravity Zone to crush the rest into the ground.
  • Sordil ordered the Royal Guard to arrest the survivors and recruit those who would submit, then challenged Rede for calling him unreliable.

Ch. 358Becoming King (Part 2)

Sordil reunited with Irene and his companions, then organized his forces to deal with the Magic Council and prepare for his coronation. He incapacitated the Council branch in Philiers and stayed outside to prevent escapees and keep the other branches from learning of the attack, hinting that they would soon gain the power to withstand retaliation.

  • Irene arrived with Tingmei, and Sordil teased them about the failed harem cleanup before the group pretended to reconcile.
  • Sordil ordered Tingmei to relieve Belserion and Red to gather the troops and arrange the coronation, while Irene reorganized the surrendered prisoners and prepared treatment space.
  • Sordil led the troops to the Magic Council branch in Philiers, where Milligan dismissed the warning that an army had surrounded them.
  • Sordil struck the Council with Gravity Zone, Poison Dragon's Roar, and Death Rhapsody: Soul Urge, leaving its members unable to fight.
  • Sordil had officers escort the prisoners away and asked Sage Dragon to pursue any stragglers, explaining that he also needed to keep news of the attack from reaching other Council branches.

Ch. 359Becoming King (Final)

Sordil defeated the Magic Council members, then took control of the Bosco Kingdom and was crowned king alongside Irene. After the coronation, Irene reassured him that she would stay with him, while reminding him of the washboard she had bought.

  • Old Suo defeated Milligan and the nine other councilors, and his lightning attack killed all ten after black energy fused with the Ghost Dragon's power.
  • Sordil returned to the palace with the Sage Dragon and the prisoners, then handed over the captives and met Rede to plan the coronation.
  • Charlie O'rn and the nobles announced King Yarikah's death and Princess Harris's murder, then chose Sordil Orn as the new king.
  • Sordil and Irene paraded through Philiers and entered the palace hall for their coronation.
  • Charlie O'rn crowned Sordil and gave him the scepter, and Sordil vowed to make the Bosco Kingdom more prosperous and powerful.
  • Sordil crowned Irene, and she told him she would not leave him while teasing him about the washboard.

Ch. 360A Reunion After Four Hundred Years

Old Suo used a controlled magic array to begin bringing his friends back from the Spirit World, where the Spirit King told them their reunion was near. Old Suo arrived at their banquet, and their joy at seeing him turned into a playful chase as they tried to punish him for making them wait.

  • Old Suo reassured Irene that he could safely transport people to the Spirit World in batches while personally controlling the array.
  • At the Spirit World dock, Hadessta and Heradi learned from Wattster that the Spirit King had urgent news about Sordil.
  • The Spirit King told Diphiya, Radel, Heradi, and the others that Sordil had resolved his troubles and would soon come to take them home, so they held a farewell and welcoming banquet.
  • Old Suo entered the Spirit World, discovered the banquet, and hurried to join it after complaining that the guests had started eating without him.
  • Old Suo secretly ate the banquet food, then revealed himself to Heradi and the others, who were overjoyed to see him again.
  • Hadessta, Wattster, Woodman, Gilkunis, and Radel chased Old Suo after he ran from their attempt to beat him for making them worry.

Ch. 361The Kingdom's Great Revolution (Part 1)

After returning from the Spirit World, Sordil introduced Irene Belserion to his family, and the group traveled to Philiers. The newly renamed Erus Kingdom then sent its Heavenly King Guards to seize guilds, with most resisting and being swiftly defeated.

  • Hadessta reassured Irene that Sordil was saying goodbye to the Spirit King and would soon return.
  • Sordil returned, introduced Irene Belserion to Hadessta, Radel, Kirknes, Woodman, and Wattster, and guided her through greeting them as family.
  • Wattster agreed to let Sordil and the others head home to Philiers, despite wanting to meet his granddaughter.
  • On July 30, X765, the Bosco Kingdom became the Erus Kingdom, Rede Thorus became chancellor, and the Central Legion was reorganized as the Erus Legion and thirteen Heavenly King Guards.
  • The thirteen Heavenly King Guards set out to raid guilds across the kingdom, and one guard used Dissolution to strip and defeat the members of Red Sun Paradise before they were taken away.
  • Guilds at the other locations faced similar raids, though one guild surrendered without resistance.

Ch. 362Kingdom Revolution (Part 2)

Sordil expanded the Erus Kingdom’s campaign against the Magic Guilds while establishing compulsory magic education and secret intelligence and security organizations. After more than ninety guilds were destroyed or absorbed and Magic Academies opened across the kingdom, a blond youth learned that everyone would be taught magic and ran off excitedly.

  • Kaldiz ordered the Blue-Winged Raptor Magic Guild members sent to Philiers and prepared his army to move on.
  • Sordil persuaded Charlie to support compulsory beginner magic education despite the risks posed by the Magic Council and other nations.
  • Silver Moon, Bill, and Tingmei reported that the Plum Blossom Intelligence Bureau and Purple Guard were ready, and Tingmei rushed off with Silver Moon after Sordil let her ask Irene and Silver Moon about bathing together.
  • By August 15, more than ninety Magic Guilds in the Erus Kingdom had been destroyed or incorporated, and Sordil assigned their mages as army instructors or educators.
  • On August 20, the kingdom issued compulsory magic education and talent-selection decrees as Magic Academies opened across the country.
  • A blond youth heard about the new king’s decree promising magic lessons for everyone, dropped his firewood, and ran into a nearby alley.

Ch. 363All Citizens Soldiers

Sordil addressed poor enrollment in compulsory magic education by tying it to jobs, wages, and advancement, while creating a military academy to draw nobles into the system. The chapter ended with orders to establish Magic Knight Classes and prepare the academies.

  • Charlie reported that junior Magic Academies were complete, higher-level academies were under construction, and only a few hundred people had enrolled in compulsory magic education.
  • Red identified the lack of practical benefits and noble interference as the main barriers, so Sordil ordered priority hiring and double wages for graduates, plus quarterly examinations with opportunities to study at the Royal Magic Academy.
  • Sordil ordered soldiers and officers with strong physical ability and magical talent to gather in Philiers for training at a new academy, with Hadessta and the Thirteen Palace Guardian Heavenly Kings serving as instructors.
  • Red explained that nobles could earn higher ranks through military achievements, and Sordil planned a tournament between the new officers and Heradi's Erus Legion to promote the academy.
  • After Charlie warned that nobles lacked special access to the Royal Magic Academy, Sordil created Magic Knight Classes with ten monthly places for officer-academy training and ordered everyone to begin preparations.

Ch. 364Establishing Trust, Reform, Preparing for War

The Erus Kingdom held a Grand Martial Arts Tournament that persuaded watching nobles to enroll in compulsory magical education, while the Heavenly King Team won the individual event and lost the team event. After Old Suo seized the Magic Council investigators and expanded reforms across the kingdom, he began planning the next stage of his campaign to unify Ishgar.

  • Heradi ignored Old Suo’s worries and led the Erus Legion competitors into the tournament, where their chaotic entrance stunned the crowd.
  • The Heavenly King Team swept the individual event but lost the team event, giving the Erus Legion the right to name the military academy and establish it as the kingdom’s first legion.
  • Sordil awarded the individual prizes, and nobles who had been waiting to see the King’s promise fulfilled flocked to the Magic Academy dormitories.
  • Old Suo had the Magic Council investigators taken into his forces, then expanded academies, poverty relief, military training, and tournaments throughout the kingdom.
  • After nearly a year of reforms strengthened the kingdom’s martial spirit, Old Suo took a long-shelved document and began planning the next step toward unifying Ishgar.

Ch. 365Eastward! Eastward! (I)

King Sordil gathered Erus Kingdom’s ministers and military leaders to address economic strain and demands for military advancement, then announced a plan to invade Milantes. The chapter ended with him assigning forces to guard the borders and prepare the campaign.

  • Charlie endured the ministers’ questions about the king’s summons until Ancestor Tingmei explained that Reide wanted him to learn that being a favorite minister was difficult.
  • King Sordil and Queen Irene entered the conference hall and presented the kingdom’s military and economic problems to the assembled officials.
  • The ministers feigned helplessness, prompting Sordil to announce that territorial expansion would address the kingdom’s financial crisis and the army’s desire for military merit.
  • Sordil identified Milantes as the target because it was isolated, relatively weak, and formerly part of the Erus Kingdom.
  • Sordil assigned military leaders to guard the borders against Auriel, Cushen, and Fiore, while ordering Hadessta and five others to attack Milantes.
  • Sordil tasked Red and Dalitz with arranging supplies and Raleigh and Charlie with mobilizing reserve forces.

Ch. 366Eastward! Eastward! (II)

Sordil ordered Erus’s forces to prepare for war while an intelligence team in Philiers uncovered his attacks on the Magic Council and reported Erus troop movements. After learning of a suspected intelligence stronghold in the city, Sordil decided to lead its arrest himself, determined not to repeat the mistake that had cost him and Irene their daughter.

  • Sordil finished issuing his war orders, and Irene worried that their plans involved too much risk.
  • Shia and the captain confirmed that King Erus had captured the Magic Council investigation team and destroyed the Bosco branch and Erus’s magic guilds.
  • Violet reported that the Erus Legion was preparing for large-scale troop movements, and the intelligence team decided to inform its superiors.
  • The First, Second, and Third Divisions of the Erus Legion moved to new defensive zones while the Fourth Division took over their positions.

  • Sordil told Irene that he regretted the events of four hundred years earlier and vowed not to let anyone obstruct their plans again.

Ch. 367Eastward! Eastward! (3)

Old Suo captured spies who had contacted Leizhi at the Magic Council and ordered a kingdom-wide purge and warnings to the armies. At the Council headquarters, the members learned that Erus had invaded Milantes and was forcing local mages into its army.

  • Old Suo found Lake, Shia, and Violet transmitting information and broke into their residence with Silver Moon and Bill’s forces.
  • Old Suo subdued Lake and learned that he had told Leizhi about the Erus branch’s destruction, the missing investigation team, and the mobilization of the Erus Legion.
  • Old Suo ordered the three captives sent to the Training Brigade, commanded a purge of spies, and told the campaigning legions to prepare for the Magic Council as Erus’s offensive accelerated.
  • Leizhi told the Magic Council that King Erus had ordered the destruction of the Erus branch and the mage guilds, while Ogg called for action and the others debated the threat of war.
