In the forest late at night, before the seemingly endless colossal wall.
With a faint sound of something cutting through the air, the deep darkness roaming through the woods suddenly shot toward Riezel like an arrow.
It was incredibly fast—or rather, unnervingly strange. It was as though it could distort its own position, seeming alternately far away and close.
When it shot forward, the person it targeted might think it was still some distance away, when in reality, it had already arrived right in front of them.
Even Riezel was disturbed by that bizarre speed, allowing it to get close.
Fortunately, when it reached Riezel and was about to pierce his body, his Infinity activated.
"Buzz!"
Amid an almost imperceptible hum, the space before Riezel was interfered with by the technique, causing the attacker's speed to abruptly slow before it finally stopped about five inches in front of him.
"Blue."
Only then did Riezel suddenly extend a hand. Blue light flashed in his palm, and the attacker was instantly seized by an irresistible force of attraction. As though grabbed by an invisible giant hand, it was flung aside.
"Bang!"
The darkness, deeper than the night itself, uncontrollably crashed into a tree. Not only did it knock the tree down, but it continued flying onward without losing momentum, smashing apart the ground.
Dust and sand billowed into the air, and the rumbling startled countless birds from the night, sending them fleeing in panic.
"Who?"
Riezel spoke with utter calm, questioning his assailant.
Unfortunately, his question was answered only by silence, and even the calm on his face was quickly shattered.
"Gurgle, gurgle..."
Amid the swirling dust, accompanied by an odd sound like boiling water bubbling, the attacker revealed its true form before Riezel.
It truly was a shapeless mass of
