As the ground rumbled as though a volcano had erupted beneath it, its surface gradually swelling upward, Riezel and Belti in his arms involuntarily raised their gazes along with the steadily rising earth.
Before them, the ground that had just been soaked by the black rain slowly transformed into a Stone Giant.
Like the Night Spirit, the Stone Giant was entirely colored in a darkness deeper than night itself. It stood over fifty meters tall. Though it was as insignificant as an ant at the foot of Narnirga's giant wall, it towered over the surrounding trees.
The pitch-black Stone Giant appeared before Riezel and Belti, rising amid the forest as though the mountain god of the woods had awakened. Though it made no terrifying roar, the sheer presence it exuded was earth-shaking.
"This is bad!" Belti's angelic face changed slightly. "That Night Spirit directly took over the land and turned the earth into its host!"
Belti did not need to remind him. Riezel had already witnessed the entire process from start to finish.
"Interesting."
Watching the Night Spirit go from corroding his Blue to invading the earth and becoming a Stone Giant—two unbelievable transformations—Riezel's lips curved slightly.
He admitted that this monster had piqued his interest considerably.
