Inside the Sambian Tree, Pocket Dimension.
This was a vast space no smaller than the plaza from before, spacious enough to build dozens of football fields with room to spare.
The space itself seemed to truly exist inside a tree. The surrounding walls were all uneven wood, and beneath their feet was a smooth wooden floor. Only the ceiling overhead rose high above, covered in countless thick roots like pillars.
There were also many wooden bookshelves in this space.
Some of the bookshelves stood neatly arranged across the area, while others had been built against the walls. They were quite tall, so wooden stairways had been constructed along the walls as well, allowing people to climb up and search for books on the towering shelves surrounding them.
Naturally, the countless bookshelves held innumerable books.
These books all seemed to have a long history. Each one exuded an ancient air and a mysterious atmosphere, with even faint magic power rippling from them. The entire space was saturated with dense magical energy, as though a sea of magic power were sending wave after wave of ripples through the air. Anyone wandering here might even experience the lightly intoxicated sensation of being drunk on magic.
Unfortunately, ever since Mistergo, the imperial capital of "that empire," had fallen to the Abyss, no one had visited this place for a full eleven thousand years.
Until today, when the gate leading to this Pocket Dimension was opened once more and welcomed long-awaited guests.

A vortex appeared at the front of the space, opening a passage between the inside and outside.
Riezel, Merlot, Naisha, and Belti stepped in from the other side of the vortex. Seeing this ancient, mysterious, weathered space filled with magical fluctuations, they all revealed looks of amazement.
