They trembled with fear. Some were immensely worried that the battle in midair would drag them in and leave them caught in the crossfire. If that really happened, things would get interesting in the worst possible way.
Yet no matter how worried they were, the battle in the sky showed no sign of stopping. As time passed, it only grew more intense.
Many people saw a white meteor carrying unmatched power, kicking up layer upon layer of sonic booms and airwaves as it continuously charged at a figure. Sometimes it slammed violently into him; sometimes it swiftly pulled away; sometimes it turned, rose, descended, or circled around. It moved as fast as a laser, flashing back and forth so rapidly that it was impossible to follow with the eye.
