Whether Curse Users, Curse Sorcerers, Cursed Spirits, Cursed Tools, Cursed Objects, or anything else, the highest rank among them was Special Grade.

This should not have been such a common rank.

Among Curse Users, even counting Riezel, there were only five Special Grade Jujutsu Sorcerers. One of them had publicly died, yet had still not been removed from the roster. Precisely because Special Grade Jujutsu Sorcerers were so few, each exceptionally powerful and valuable, they would not be easily removed, if only for the sake of maintaining a public deterrent.

Among Cursed Spirits, the Special Grade Cursed Spirits registered by Jujutsu High were considerably more numerous than Special Grade Jujutsu Sorcerers, yet there were still only sixteen.

Those were the publicly known Special Grades in the Jujutsu World, only twenty-one in total!

Of course, those were merely the registered Special Grades. There were certainly some Special Grades that had never stepped into the spotlight and remained hidden in the shadows. The total definitely did not amount to only twenty-one, but even so, Special Grades remained the rarest entities. Even among Cursed Objects and Cursed Tools, those capable of reaching Special Grade were rarer than rare, as scarce as phoenix feathers and qilin horns.

Yet over the past month, forty-four Jujutsu incidents occurring frequently across the country had been rated Special Grade!

Of course, not every one of these Special Grade Jujutsu incidents involved a Special Grade Cursed Spirit. Some involved multiple Grade 1 Cursed Spirits appearing together, creating a threat far beyond Grade 1.
