He was an elderly man with his upper body bare and only a loincloth around his lower half, dressed like an elder from some tribal people.
Though advanced in years, the old man's exposed body was exceptionally robust. A faint but powerful cursed energy coiled around him, warning others just how dangerous he was.
"Hm?"
The old man, who had been sitting with his eyes closed as though dozing off, suddenly opened them.
"A newcomer entered?"
The old man muttered, a sharp glint appearing in his eyes.
He was Duruf Rakdawara, one of the players in the Culling Game.
In the Sendai Barrier, the slaughter had been far more brutal than in the other barriers. In just a few days, many powerful people with high scores had already emerged.
Among these powerhouses, four top-tier Curse Users had appeared, figures who could not be easily shaken.
These four top-tier Curse Users were also currently the four highest-scoring players in the Sendai Barrier.
The four players had fallen into a standoff, and none of them dared make a reckless move.
Among the four, Duruf Rakdawara currently had the highest score: a full 91 game points.
That meant Duruf was extremely close to 100 game points. He would soon be able to negotiate with the game administrator and become one of those who set the rules.
Culling Game Rule Five: Game points referred to the value assigned by the game administrator (GM) to each player's life. In principle, a Curse User was worth 5 points and a non-sorcerer was worth 1 point.
In other words, as long as Duruf killed two more Curse Users, or nine more Non-Sorcerers, or one Curse User and four Non-Sorcerers, he would gather the game
