• Mu Zhe protected Ning Rongrong as she absorbed a Spirit Ring beyond her limit, and she emerged at level thirty-four with an evolved Nine Treasures Glazed Tile Pagoda.
• Mu Zhe retrieved the Hundred-Thousand-Year Blue Silver Emperor Right Leg Bone from the cave near Holy Spirit Village and gave it to Ah Yin.
• Mu Zhe stored Dugu Bo’s Medicinal Garden and the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well in his Inner Space, then offered Dugu Bo a Poison Bead and a permanent detoxification solution.
• Mu Zhe evaded attacks from Xue Beng’s men, confronted Bao Liuli, and later forced Dragon Staff and Snake Crone to submit to him.

Mu Zhe strengthened his powers, drew Ah Yin closer to the truth about Tang San and Tang Hao, and clashed with Shrek’s group and several powerful opponents. The arc left him facing Porcupine Douluo after Qian Renxue ordered a test of his strength.

• Mu Zhe trained with Ah Yin, reached the level-thirty bottleneck, and chose a soul beast for his third Spirit Ring.
• Mu Zhe returned to Dugu Manor, gave Dugu Yan an Earth Dragon Golden Melon, and agreed to help Ye Lingling obtain a Spirit Ring.
• Mu Zhe confronted Tang Hao and later told Ah Yin that Tang San had possessed her newborn child, prompting her to return to her true body.
• Mu Zhe helped set up Meng Yiran’s duel with Tang San, and her Dragon Whisker Needles made Tang San collapse in pain.

Mu Zhe gathered allies, pursued his cultivation, and repeatedly intervened in the affairs of Shrek and its students while Tang San's conflicts with his friends and teachers deepened. The arc left Mu Zhe departing after defeating Bao Liuli’s bodyguard leader, with Tang San and the others still caught in danger and confusion.

• Mu Zhe punished the bandits who had threatened Suotuo City, then carried her toward Ning Rongrong and entrusted Ma Hongjun and He Yining with concealed-weapon techniques.
• Mu Zhe helped Ye Lingling absorb a Spirit Ring, confronted Xiao Wu, and cultivated at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, advancing his Purple Demon Eyes and strengthening Ah Yin.
• Mu Zhe rescued Bao Liuli from bandits, clashed with Qian Renxue and Porcupine Douluo, and discovered that his Soul Devouring Spider Lance could devour Soul Power and souls.
• Mu Zhe used the Medicinal Garden to help Dugu Bo and Dugu Yan, while his shadow schemes entangled Flender, Zhao Wuji, Dragon Duke, Snake Crone, and the Shrek students.

Mu Zhe pursued power and influence while drawing close to Xiao Wu, Ye Lingling, Dugu Yan, and Qian Renxue, and his actions repeatedly disrupted the people around Tang San. The story then shifted back to Mu Zhe’s childhood, as he awakened his Martial Soul, entered Nuoding City, and watched Tang San begin training under Yu Xiaogang.

• Mu Zhe ambushed Tang Hao during his battle with Er Ming, then spared Tang San after discovering the Asura God mark in his Sea of Consciousness.
• Mu Zhe absorbed the Ice Dragon King’s divine energy, cured Ye Lingling’s lineage curse, and killed Zhao Wuji after overwhelming him.
• Mu Zhe forced Xiao Wu to obey him by threatening to expose Da Ming and Er Ming, while promising that she should remain close to Tang San without revealing him.
• Mu Zhe defeated Porcupine Douluo, protected Ye Lingling from Xue Beng, and agreed to treat Dugu Bo and Dugu Yan in exchange for access to the Medicinal Garden.
• Mu Zhe hunted a Soul Devouring Demonic Spider, beat Yu Xiaogang, and helped Ah Yin recover with Ye Lingling’s healing ability.
• At his Martial Soul awakening, Mu Zhe declared that his Martial Soul was his shadow and displayed Innate Full Soul Power, then left his village for Nuoding City with the Blue Silver Emperor.
• Mu Zhe entered the City Lord’s Mansion unseen and decided to rob its accounts office after observing Xiao Chenyu take money from it.
• Yu Xiaogang discovered Tang San had Twin Martial Souls, and Tang Hao stopped Tang San’s attack and made him ask Yu Xiaogang to accept him as a disciple.
