Thud-thud—
Hooves pounded across the uneven ground, rocking the entire carriage as its wheels let out dull, creaking groans.
There was no ceremonial procession, no guards!
It could not even be called luxurious. Given Draudillon's status as the Draconic Queen, this carriage was truly plain. Only the horses pulling it were exceptionally trained, top-class warhorses.
But in the Draconic Kingdom, now on the verge of destruction, warhorses were not in short supply.
The dull eyes of countless soldiers gradually widened as the simple carriage appeared, bearing the emblem of the Royal Family.
At that sight, every soldier felt their eyes sting.
The carriage drove through the parted defensive lines.
"Your Majesty—" The general commanding this legion stood in the carriage's path, looking in its direction with a hoarse voice as he shouted, "It's too dangerous, Your Majesty!"
Clatter—!
Without slowing in the slightest, the carriage raced past the commander and headed toward the gathering of Undead in the distance.
Inside the carriage.
Draudillon clenched her hands tightly. She wore a black formal dress she had changed into beforehand, inlaid with jewels and flecks of gold, while constantly running through every possible situation that might arise in the coming negotiations.
Why did she believe the enemy would meet her?
Because they had the power to easily destroy the Draconic Kingdom!
Whether it was driving the populace into the Royal Capital or surrounding this region with a terrifying army.
Both pointed to one fact!
The enemy was not in a hurry to destroy the Draconic Kingdom.
Draudillon did not know why they were doing this. Given the situation between the two sides, it was an attitude of mockery.
Even the most arrogant human commander would not choose such a course, because they had to consider supplies, soldier fatigue, casualties, and other problems.
