Li Feng knew more than just two ways to destroy the Locket—for example, his Pseudo-Angel Feather or the spells in The Key of Solomon.

That book was filled with spells designed to restrain Demons. Since Demons usually chose to possess humans, Li Feng had learned quite a few exorcism spells from it that could save the human while destroying the Demon.

Voldemort hiding his soul inside the Locket barely counted as possession, so Li Feng had plenty of ways to drive Voldemort's soul out of it.

The only uncertainty was whether Voldemort's soul still counted as human. Li Feng did not know whether spells meant to destroy Demons would work. What if Voldemort's soul was too powerful to defeat, or escaped? What would Li Feng have left to trade with Dumbledore? An empty Locket?

Considering all that, after listening to Kreacher's introduction to the Translation Quill, Li Feng resigned himself to his bad luck and pinched his nose. "Method one: find the Sword of Gryffindor. That thing can split the Locket apart."

Kreacher's mouth twitched. Of course he knew about the Sword of Gryffindor, but he also knew it had been missing for over a century. Even if he were lucky enough to find it, other people searching for the sword would probably find him before he could use it on the Locket—and, to keep the sword for themselves, they would probably dry him into jerky.

With wide eyes, Kreacher said gloomily, "What about method two?"

Li Feng had already confirmed that Harry was in his second year, so naturally he knew the Basilisk had appeared. He just did not know how far the plot had progressed. Scratching his head, he asked, "Do you know about the Basilisk that kills anyone it looks at?"
