"Impossible," Lupin refuted without a second thought. "If Peter is at Hogwarts, Dumbledore couldn't possibly be unaware of it."

Sirius likewise didn't believe Li Feng. He eyed Li Feng hostilely and said, "That lie you made up is terrible. Or do you think the Dementors have tortured me into an idiot, and any random lie will fool me?"

Li Feng sighed. "Have you forgotten what Peter Pettigrew's Anima-whatever is called?"

After thinking about it, Li Feng admitted he really couldn't remember what the ultimate transformation technique from the Harry Potter world was called. "It's your Transfiguration. Peter can turn into a field mouse. Do you think Dumbledore would notice one extra field mouse in the school?"

"Animagus," Lupin said thoughtfully. "And Peter is familiar with every secret passage in the school. Perhaps Dumbledore really wouldn't be able to easily find him. Likewise, even if we found an excuse to enter the school, we wouldn't be able to track down a single rat. The school is simply too large."

Sirius still didn't quite believe Li Feng. He curled his lip and said, "What's the difference between telling me that and telling me nothing? I still have to trade the Black Family's precious magic. Unless you find Peter Pettigrew for me, the deal is off."
