"Congratulations. You've opened your Gene Locks and grown stronger."

Uchiha Gen smiled and clapped as he spoke.

It was now the afternoon of the seventh day since they had returned to the Main God Space, and also the time when the T-virus serum had modified the Central Continent Team's bodies enough for them to open their Gene Locks.

Since Uchiha Gen knew about Gene Locks, he had only needed to focus and make a slight attempt to successfully complete the unlocking process.

By this point, he had even mastered the skilled use of the Gene Lock, causing his combat strength to surge by another large margin.

Zheng Zha and Zhan Lan, however, needed a little help.

Thus came the scene from earlier, where Uchiha Gen used Killing Intent to stimulate them.

Because the First Stage Gene Lock within their bodies had already been activated by the T-virus serum, a slight stimulus was enough for the two of them to instinctively open their Gene Locks.

What was a Gene Lock?

In an instant, both felt their entire bodies convulse. Pain welled up from deep within their bones, as though countless tiny insects were gnawing at them and the genes in their bodies were collapsing.

For the first time, both of them felt as though they were dying.

Fortunately, neither Zheng Zha nor Zhan Lan was an ordinary person anymore.

Even Zhan Lan, who had the weakest physical constitution, had seen her overall abilities exceed those of an ordinary person by more than three times after being enhanced successively by the T-virus and Chakra.

Moreover, Uchiha Gen had prepared for this long ago and took out two Ventilators to supply them with oxygen.

Upon hearing that, Zheng Zha and Zhan Lan both came to a realization.

Zheng Zha shook his head. "Forget it. I have no objection. Let's call it the Gene Lock. It's quite fitting."

Zhan Lan nodded beside him.

The two recalled the feeling of opening their Gene Locks earlier. In that state, the Chakra they normally controlled only crudely could instantly be wielded as naturally as their own limbs.

Even the Body Flicker Technique they had only recently learned and were still unfamiliar with could be used very well in that state.

Uchiha Gen nodded and took a Sealing Scroll out of his Ninja Tool Pouch.

"Actually, I had thought of the tactic you mentioned before, Zheng Zha, but I was afraid you wouldn't control it well and would blow yourself to pieces too, so I didn't bring it up. Now that you've opened your Gene Lock and your control has improved greatly, as long as you aren't afraid of pain, you can use this tactic without worry."

As he spoke, Uchiha Gen formed hand seals and opened the Sealing Scroll.

At once, a mountain of Exploding Tags appeared before them.
