The Immortality Prophecy

Moriarty took the Ice Moon Necklace from the system space and held it in his hand. The mithril chain felt excellent, like a clear spring flowing through his palm.

The snow-white crescent pendant glowed with a white light. Moriarty heard a voice from the depths of his heart, a call urging him to put on the necklace.

Moriarty neither put on the necklace nor responded to the system. He held it tightly in his hand.

Regarding this trophy, Moriarty planned to investigate its hidden secrets when he returned to China. However, for now, the Ice Moon Necklace seemed closely related to Water Elemental Magic.

This made Moriarty change his plans. He summoned Luke and asked him to take him to the castle dungeons.

Ingo's face turned pale at this, while Lockhart excitedly said, "The young master wants to interrogate that Gnome Dark Wizard? Let me do it! Although I don't know Legilimency, I've watched interrogation procedures at least a hundred times."

However, upon seeing that the dungeon was actually a large pit filled with countless venomous snakes, Lockhart's face turned ashen, just like Ingo's.

Moriarty nodded with satisfaction. This setup would be better for breaking the Eastern Isles Wizard's psychological defenses.

He used a levitation charm to suspend the Eastern Isles Wizard, along with the Ice Coffin that had frozen him, above the large pit.

Moriarty gave the venomous snakes a command. Countless snakes crawled onto the Ice Coffin, and soon it melted.

The Eastern Isles Wizard, upon waking up to find himself covered in slippery venomous snakes, let out a piercing scream.

He was already seriously injured, and now he was terrified.

The terrified Eastern Isles Wizard was dazed. Suddenly, he heard a cold voice: "Name?"

Through the tails of more than ten snakes, the Eastern Isles Wizard saw Moriarty's icy gaze. Knowing it was Moriarty interrogating him, he subconsciously swallowed.

The venomous snakes sensed the movement in his throat, raised their heads, and met the Eastern Isles Wizard's eyes. Before he could let out a second scream, one snake's head flicked out its tongue and licked his face.

This scene reminded the Eastern Isles Wizard of the fear of being dominated by the Twelve Ice Serpents. He trembled and replied, "Tsukamura Kureno."

Moriarty continued to ask in Japanese, "What were you doing in China?"

Tsukamura Kureno pursed his lips tightly. Only when a small venomous snake attempted to crawl into his ear did he quickly say, "Doing a mission."

"What mission?"

Tsukamura Kureno remained stubborn and refused to speak, his eyes filled with malice as he looked at Moriarty.

Moriarty extended the hand holding the Ice Moon Necklace in front of him and said coldly, "Reveal its secret!"

To prevent Tsukamura Kureno from biting his tongue to commit suicide, Moriarty cast a freezing spell on his mouth.

Moriarty decided to keep Tsukamura Kureno in the dungeon for three days.

After leaving the dungeon, Moriarty said to Lockhart, "Come with me. We need to discuss the details of the new book release."

In the main hall, Moriarty began, "Go and negotiate with the Fli Family. Demand a 60/40 split. You get sixty percent, they get forty. The reason is that you are the one who understands the Slytherin Descendant the best, while the Fli Family, and the entire British wizarding world, know nothing about the Slytherin Descendant."

"I will dedicate all the money I earn to the young master," Lockhart said as if presenting a treasure.

"Listen to me quietly!" Moriarty glared at him, and Lockhart immediately sat up straight.

Before leaving, Moriarty had Luke put ten gold bricks into the suitcase he had prepared for Lockhart.

"Use this money to operate. You can find Rita Skeeter, a reporter from The Daily Prophet. I'm sure she won't miss this big scoop," Moriarty said meaningfully.

Lockhart was deeply moved and vowed to handle the matter properly.

After dinner, Moriarty found a brand-new bedroom and continued to list his plans.

This was Moriarty's academic year plan. Two new spells had been added to the list that he must master: Legilimency and Occlumency.

If Moriarty knew Legilimency, interrogating Tsukamura Kureno wouldn't have been so tedious.

Most importantly, he needed to lift the movement restrictions on the House-elves, allowing Luke to leave the castle to purchase ingredients.

Moriarty didn't want to eat seafood for every meal; who knew what strange magical creatures lurked in the large lake behind the castle.

Three days later, Slytherin Castle was completely renovated, retaining its characteristics as a fortress while incorporating the style of a noble estate.

Luke went to Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions in Diagon Alley early in the morning to order wizard robes for Moriarty, while Moriarty headed into the dungeons.

Tsukamura Kureno had lost a lot of weight, his already short stature seeming to have shrunk.

Being toyed with by snakes was no different from torture for him. His pupils were dilated as he looked at Moriarty and murmured, "Kill me... kill me..."

Moriarty waved his staff, "Water as Clear as a Spring."

Tsukamura Kureno was doused with water, appearing a bit more alert. Moriarty said, "The same question as before, the secret of the Ice Moon Necklace."

"I... belong to a dark wizard organization, the Ravenous Crow Society," Tsukamura Kureno said in an almost inaudible voice. "Six months ago, we received a mission to retrieve the Ice Moon Necklace from East Tibet. Other than that, I know nothing."

Moriarty's doubts were not resolved; instead, they multiplied. However, Tsukamura Kureno didn't look like he was lying.

So Moriarty changed his approach and asked, "Are there any peculiar prophecies, myths, or leaders of dark wizards in the Eastern Isles magical world?"

Tsukamura Kureno's eyes widened, and he said mysteriously, "In our Eastern Isles... there has always been a prophecy, the Immortality Prophecy."

"That's it?" Moriarty raised an eyebrow as another snake flicked its tongue at Tsukamura Kureno.

Tsukamura Kureno shook his head weakly. "That's it. We all know it's a prophecy about immortality, but no one knows the specific content."

Moriarty's expression darkened. The clues had run dry here. The Eastern Isles magical world was becoming more and more like a dark, murky pool.

Tsukamura Kureno could see Moriarty was not satisfied with his answer. Fearing further torment from the snakes, he said with a crying tone, "Please—I've really told you everything I know, this is all I know! I can also tell you about the secret dark magic of the Eastern Isles dark wizard organizations and our Ravenous Crow Society. Please, just kill me."

An hour later, Moriarty had extracted everything Tsukamura Kureno knew and ordered the snakes to devour him.

Returning to the hall, Moriarty took out the Ice Moon Necklace and examined it closely. That voice was calling Moriarty to wear the necklace again.

Unlike last time, the Ice Moon Necklace emitted a faint coolness that made Moriarty extremely comfortable.

His mind raced, and all sorts of information seemed to sort themselves out, becoming orderly from chaos.

Moriarty easily realized, "Through my family inheritance, I used ice magic to enhance my water elemental magic, successfully unsealing water elemental magic and gaining the recognition of the Ice Moon Necklace.

This means water elemental magic can unseal the Ice Moon Necklace!

And the Phoenix Egg found in the underground secret chamber can unseal fire elemental magic for me.

If the Ice Moon Necklace and the Phoenix Egg are classified as the same type of peculiar magical item, then we can assume that the key to the Ice Moon Necklace unsealing water elemental magic lies in its ownership!

Perhaps this is the real reason why the Ravenous Crow Society wants to obtain the Ice Moon Necklace!

Just as I own the Phoenix Egg and have unsealed fire elemental magic, the person who assigned the mission to the Ravenous Crow Society, or the dark wizard organization, wants to use the Ice Moon Necklace to unseal water elemental magic.

The specific reason is unknown, but what can be confirmed is that both the Ice Moon Necklace and the Phoenix Egg can unseal water and fire elemental magic, and water and fire elemental magic can also activate the usage rights or ownership of the Ice Moon Necklace and the Phoenix Egg.

Moriarty wrote down all his conjectures about the Ice Moon Necklace in a notebook. The appearance of the Ice Moon Necklace and the Eastern Isles dark wizards had shown him a different magical sky.

Just then, Luke returned. As soon as he entered the castle, he banged his head against the wall: "Luke is a bad house-elf. Luke didn't order wizard robes for Master."

Ingo let out a few cold laughs, drawing Luke's angry glare. "Luke saw Lockhart in Diagon Alley! He was surrounded by a large crowd. Diagon Alley is full of wizards now, and Luke was pushed out of Diagon Alley!"

"Alright Luke, it's not your fault," Moriarty said, a smile playing on his lips. The more people there were around Lockhart, the more popular his books were. "But you need to be careful next. I want The Daily Prophet as soon as it's published!"
