Hogwarts Library.

Hermione Granger sat at a desk in the back row.

Magic books were piled before her. She clutched a Quick-Quotes Quill, frowning as she scribbled across a sheet of parchment.

Her friend Hannah Abbott sat beside her with a lollipop in her mouth, her round little face looking utterly content.

"Seriously, Hermione, why are you picking a fight with Professor Sybill Trelawney?"

As Hannah spoke, she swung her two short legs back and forth lazily.

Hermione rolled her eyes at her friend, tossed down her quill with a smack, and said irritably, "Dear Hannah, I asked you to come to the Library with me not to lecture me, but because I needed your notes!"

Hannah pulled out her notebook and handed it to Hermione, giggling. "Even Hermione, the top student in our year, has subjects she isn't good at~"

"The genius is Moriarty, okay? At most, I'm just a top student." Hermione took the notebook and flipped through a few pages. When she saw the notes inside, a wave of irritation rose in her heart.

"I can't study!" Hermione snapped the notebook shut and covered her forehead dejectedly. "Anything related to Professor Sybill Trelawney makes me sick."

Hannah leaned over, wiped away the cold sweat on Hermione's forehead, then took out a handkerchief and offered it to her with concern. "Should we tell Moriarty?"

"No." Hermione clenched the handkerchief and firmly refused. "I can't tell Moriarty over something this trivial. What would people think of me?"

"Am I the kind of witch who abuses his affection?"

"But have you forgotten what Professor Sybill Trelawney said?" Hannah's eyes turned serious. "No matter how much she dislikes you, she shouldn't have predicted that you were about to die!"

Hermione laughed instead. "Do you really think I'd care about her prophecy?"
