The mountain where the Six-winged Azure Bat lived had exceptionally complex terrain. One side was sheer and precipitous, where the cave was located. In the sky above, quite a few third- and fourth-tier demonic beast servants were patrolling, though they seemed somewhat listless. It appeared the Six-winged Azure Bat's earlier attack had not distinguished friend from foe.
The other side, however, was rather gentle. Towering trees densely covered the gradual slope, while Dark Purple Vines studded with barbs intertwined between them, sealing off every path up the mountain. Even from a considerable distance away, Ling Li could faintly see pink mist drifting from the Dark Purple Vines. They were most likely poisonous.
The land route was blocked, and the skies were guarded. Without some special means or the absolute strength to force his way through, even if one knew there was treasure in the cave at the mountain top, they would not be able to reach it.
"Perfect. I can try out the Shadow Transformation skill!" Ling Li smiled faintly as battle qi surged through his body. In an instant, he melted into the shadow beneath his feet like melting chocolate.
