Ling Li defeated Wind Venerable, rose to Dou Zun, and returned to the Northwest Continent to drive back the Barbarian Tribe and gather allies. At Nalan Yanran’s succession ceremony, Xiao Yan arrived to fulfill the Three-Year Agreement, and their duel escalated when he broke through to Dou Wang.

• Ling Li defeated Wind Venerable, took control of Starfall Pavilion, and later reached Peak Fighting Sect after dealing with the remaining elders.
• Ling Li broke through to Dou Zun, survived the Lightning Tribulation, and spent five months constructing a Space Channel to the Northwest Continent with Zi Yan.
• Ling Li learned that the Shi Ming Sect and the Barbarian Tribe had conquered much of the Northwest Continent, then set out to find Yun Yun and stop their invasion.
• Ling Li arrived at Da Ling City as Shi Tian’s forces attacked, defeated the Barbarians, and killed Shi Tian before ordering the remaining invaders exterminated.
• Ling Li led the allied forces north and accepted Fa Ma’s invitation to the Alchemist Grand Meeting, where he offered a soul cultivation technique to the champion and invited alchemists to join the Mercenary Guild.
• Ling Li attended Nalan Yanran’s succession ceremony at Cloud Mist Sect, where Xiao Yan arrived to fulfill the Three-Year Agreement and began a life-or-death duel with her.
• Xiao Yan and Nalan Yanran fought evenly until his Dou Qi weakened, but Xiao Yan suddenly advanced from Seven-Star Dou Spirit to One-Star Dou Wang and struck her with a flaming Sealing Mountain palm.

Ling Li dealt with Xiao Yan’s defeat and the Xiao Family’s troubles before aiding the Flower Sect against the Scorpion Demon Three Ghosts. After helping secure Yun Yun’s position and advancing to Five-Star Dou Zun, Ling Li left with Zi Yan and Little Doctor Fairy to seek the Netherworld Poison Flame.

• Ling Li stopped the fatal clash between Nalan Yanran and Xiao Yan, declared the Three-Year Agreement void, and subdued Gu Xun Er after Xiao Yan conceded defeat.
• Gu Kui abducted Xiao Zhan, but Star-Plucking Old Ghost captured Gu Kui and took Xiao Zhan toward the Soul Hall.
• Ling Li took the Tou She Ancient God Jade from Xiao Yan, arranged for Gu Xun Er to be held, and later erased Xiao Yan’s memories of her at his request.
• Ling Li refined the Eight Illusions Nirvana Pill, which Queen Medusa used to break through to Fighting Venerable and gain an Eight-colored Heaven Swallowing Python bloodline.
• Ling Li and Yao Chen traveled with Hua Ying and Nalan Yanran to the Flower Sect, where Ling Li killed Hua Jin and fought the Evil Flower Lord of Heavenly Nether Sect.
• The Scorpion Demon Three Ghosts attacked the Flower Sect, but Ling Li, Zi Yan, and Little Doctor Fairy killed all three after Ling Li unleashed his four Mysterious Flames.
• Hua Yu thanked Ling Li for saving the Flower Sect, while Yao Chen stayed behind to court her and discuss an alliance.
• Ling Li obtained Little Doctor Fairy’s blood essence for the Flower Sect elders, advanced to Five-Star Dou Zun, and left with Zi Yan and Little Doctor Fairy to seek the Netherworld Poison Flame.

Ling Li helped Little Doctor Fairy condense a poison pill, fought the Soul Hall, and brought Zi Yan back to Ancient Dragon Island. After reaching Fighting Saint, he confronted Zhu Kun and reunited with Medusa and his daughter before setting out for the Dragon Phoenix Origin Fruit.

• Ling Li killed Ice River, took the Netherworld Poison Flame, and helped Little Doctor Fairy condense a poison pill that restored her cultivation.
• Ling Li imprisoned Gu Xun Er, then battled Soul Hall Venerables as Star-Plucking Old Ghost abducted her and Hun Miesheng attacked their escape.
• The Dragon Kings rescued Zi Yan and Ling Li’s group, and Zi Yan returned to Ancient Dragon Island with them after Hun Miesheng escaped.
• Ling Li spent two years cultivating on Ancient Dragon Island, reached Fighting Saint, and challenged Hun Miesheng and Hun Qianmo to draw them away from the island.
• Ling Li entered the Ancient Emperor’s Cave Mansion, where Zhu Kun killed Hun Miesheng and Hun Qianmo and agreed to help Ling Li leave.
• Ling Li returned to Medusa and met his daughter Ling Ling, then brought Medusa, Han Yue, Han Xue, and others to Ancient Dragon Island.
• Zhu Li and Zhu Huo revealed a hidden Space Channel to the Fighting Saint Ruins, and Ling Li agreed to go with them.
