• Gwen arrived at the World Serpent’s ancient grounds, and Gray Serpent guided him to the entrance of a dark passage.
• Gwen walked through the passage and realized he had to lower his mental defenses to enter the Elysian Realm.
• Gwen met Aponia in a sunlit plaza, and she told him she could not answer his question directly yet.
• Aponia sent Gwen through a distortion to the place he needed to be.

Gwen shared wine with Eden and told her he had met her original body fifty thousand years ago, when she sang civilization’s final hymn. Eden learned that her original body was still alive inside a World Bubble within Gwen, though the two Edens could not yet meet.

• Eden and Gwen toasted their reunion and discussed how Gwen had known her original body in the Previous Civilization.
• Gwen explained that an accident during an experiment in the Sea of Quantum had sent him fifty thousand years into the past, where he met Eden singing in an abandoned city.
• Eden asked whether her original body had gone through with her choice to die, and Gwen clarified that she was alive inside a World Bubble within him.
• Gwen told Eden that her original body was studying the history of the civilization inside the World Bubble but could not leave or meet her.

• Gwen recounted the battle with the Herrscher of Finality and said Alicia had not appeared since they reached the World Bubble.

• Gwen destroyed Ganesha and many surrounding enemies, but the Honkai tide soon returned and more attacks targeted him.
• Gwen rescued survivors, including Yan Changxin, who demanded that Gwen protect gold bars in a basement; Yan Changxin turned into a dead soldier, and Gwen restrained him while continuing the rescue.

• Gwen absorbed Pardofelis’s Signet and completed Fu Hua’s trial, receiving Fu Hua’s advice and Signet.
• Gwen found three identical Mobius doors and entered the middle one, waking restrained on an operating table in Mobius’s laboratory.
• Mobius appeared as a green-haired little girl and tried to cut Gwen, but her scalpel broke against him.

• Gwen told Mobius that research into the power inside him had to wait until he could fully control it, and Mobius agreed to that restriction.
• Gwen collected Mobius’s Signet and absorbed its dark green serpent shadow, finding that it offered little improvement to his combat ability.

• Mobius examined Gwen while Prometheus explained that the tests were safe and intended to help develop his abilities.
