Thick, cotton-like snow hung heavily over the rolling mountain range.

This was a famous mountain range in the far north of the Ancient Qin State, known as the Snow God Mountain Range.
The Snow God Mountain Range rose and fell gracefully from northeast to southwest, with its flanks noticeably sunken while an unusual peak thrust upward at its center. That towering summit stood amid the vast expanse encircled by countless peaks, like an unfallen Snow God gazing down upon all beneath its feet. White clouds drifted around it; surveying the surrounding peaks, all mountains seemed small.
That was Snow God Peak.
Snow God Peak was named for its sheer thousand-fathom cliffs that soared into the clouds, as well as its unfathomable mystery.

There were countless folk legends surrounding this peak, all touched with myth. To the people living within a thousand li of the area, Snow God Peak truly was like a deity. Anyone who underestimated it, rashly attempting to conquer it by climbing its slopes, would ultimately vanish without a trace.
Even many great heroes and demonic figures of the martial world, or lawless martial factions that wished to occupy the peak and establish it as their base, had all met miserable ends. They either disappeared soon afterward, went mad or foolish, or died.
