The scene changed, revealing only a woman at the end of her strength, brutally besieged by countless martial arts experts and forced to flee into Lingyun Cave. As life and death hung in the balance, she drifted in a daze and dreamed of the Giant Buddha shedding compassionate tears, Buddha's Light Shines Everywhere upon her spirit. She dreamed of a mysterious flying celestial maiden, ever-changing in form, suddenly spreading her arms and embracing her. An obscure and ancient passage echoed in her mind.
"Ten gods there are, named Nuwa's Intestines. They transformed into gods and dwelt upon the fields of Liguang, lying across the road. It is also said: 'Nuwa was an ancient goddess and sovereign, with a human face and serpent's body. She changed seventy times in a single day, and her belly transformed into these gods.'"
