Many cloud patches, their chests puffed and bellies protruding like sweet potatoes, drifted quietly over Wudang Mountain. Beyond the pale yellow-tinged clouds, the blue sky faced the glittering Wudang Golden Summit.
It was the time for Wudang disciples' morning practice. Sword lights gleamed atop Golden Summit, and sword qi streaked across the sky.
Several hundred elite Wudang disciples practiced their swords under the lead of the chief senior disciple, while Song Yuanqiao and the other Wudang Seven stood to one side, observing and instructing with imposing bearing.
Similar morning training was underway in other areas of Wudang Mountain. Outer disciples practiced Tai Chi stances, inner disciples practiced Tai Chi Fist, elite disciples practiced Tai Chi Sword, and core disciples practiced Tai Chi Arts. Wudang Mountain was vibrant with morning energy, and amid the flowing sea of clouds, it resembled an old turtle slowly stretching its limbs within the mist.
