Today I went to a banquet for drinks (I didn't drink; "drinks" just means eating), and the car ended up in a ditch! (_)
No idea when we'll get it out and make it home.
Sorry, everyone. The update may be much later than usual—possibly not until the early hours.
Please don't stop with the recommendation votes. We're currently on the Three Rivers recommendations, so help keep the momentum going. Once it goes premium in two weeks, I'll definitely update like mad. Thanks!
This afternoon is a good time for me to calm down. When I started writing this book, I was really just writing for fun. I wanted to write the kind of Wuxia scenes I used to miss, something with a little aftertaste worth savoring.
After all these years of simply writing and reading feel-good novels, I've come to realize something: once the rush is over, it's gone. After the thrill fades, all that remains is loneliness, with nothing worth lingering over.
So I've been striving toward something that leaves an aftertaste. Of course, I haven't abandoned the thrill either—the point is that after the thrill, there should still be some impression left to savor.
I hope I can keep it up and succeed, so that our Brother Dali and Black Wind Stronghold can go farther!
Brothers! Stand shoulder to shoulder and vote!
I'll post a video below of a hundred-jin battleaxe, so everyone can get a feel for it.
The Golden Saber with Nine Rings weighs ninety-three jin, nearly a hundred jin.
What would it look like for Dali to lift and swing it one-handed? Take a look.
