Maybe I Heard Wrong

A huge spaceship drifted through the vast universe, moving at incredible speed and carving a streak of light through the dark cosmos.

On the fifth floor of the ship, two people lay sleeping against each other. They were naturally Zhou Hao and Murong.

Just then, Zhou Hao slowly woke from his slumber. The moment he moved, however, he noticed Murong lying beside him.

His movements immediately paused. He carefully raised himself to look at Murong and saw that she was actually asleep, so he lay back down to avoid making any noise that might disturb her.

Drunk again, Zhou Hao thought gloomily.

With one arm beneath his head, he turned to look at Murong's sleeping face, an unconsciously sweet smile appearing on his lips.

"Do you want to kiss me?" Murong's smiling voice suddenly rang out.

Zhou Hao froze slightly, then leaned over and kissed her before asking with a smile, "You're awake?"

"Mm." Murong opened her eyes and looked at Zhou Hao. Touching the cheek he had just kissed, she pursed her lips and asked, "You really kissed me?"

"You asked for it, so of course I had to satisfy you!" Zhou Hao said with a smile, as if it were only natural.

Murong immediately rolled her eyes at him. "I was only asking you. I never told you to do it."

"Then maybe I heard wrong!" Zhou Hao casually replied in a shameless tone, as though saying, "I've already done it. What can you do about it?"

Murong reached over to his waist and gave him a vicious pinch. "Say that again. Did you mishear what I said just now?"

"No." Zhou Hao's waist stiffened, and he answered with an awkward grin, "I heard it all. I kissed you on purpose."
