A month later

"It's time to stop and maintain the spaceship." Zhou Hao looked at Murong as he spoke.

Murong nodded lightly. "Let's stop! I'll go over all the spaceship's formations. We'll stay put for another three to five days and let the ship's components rest. There shouldn't be any major problems."

"Alright." Zhou Hao responded, then brought the spaceship to a halt.

The two of them then went to inspect the formations aboard the spaceship.

As Zhou Hao watched Murong maintain the formations, he said, "A month has passed, and it seems we've only traveled a little over two million light-years."

That was merely the distance Murong used to cover in a single day.

"Mm." Murong nodded slightly, raising a hand to summon formation patterns and replenish the faded ones. Then she said calmly, "For the next five days, I'll take you traveling again! After five days, the spaceship will have rested enough, and then it can carry us for another month."

"Alright. That way, you won't have to work so hard." Zhou Hao nodded in agreement.

"Alright, the formation maintenance is done." Murong clapped her hands.

With her attainments in the Dao of formations, maintaining the formations here was child's play.

"That's it already?" Zhou Hao raised a brow. He had expected the maintenance to be quick, but he had not expected it to be this quick.

Murong lifted her chin and smiled smugly. "Who do you think I am?"

Zhou Hao froze for a moment at the sight, then could not help laughing. He "flattered" her, "You're the renowned Empress, Your Majesty! Of course this is only natural."

Murong gave him a performative once-over, then raised a hand and patted his shoulder. Nodding in satisfaction, she said, "Mm, not bad. That was a fine bit of bootlicking."
