Dugu Qingming was born into a hidden Dugu martial family. Once regarded as its most brilliant daughter, she reached the True Immortal Realm in only three years. Her cultivation then stagnated for six years, causing her family to label her a waste. 115 541

Her downfall was tied to Dugu Ba Jue. During the prior family tournament, Ba Jue crippled her father, Dugu Qingyun, by shattering his Qi Sea and meridians. Qingming's elder sister sought justice, was humiliated, and later committed suicide. Qingming left home shortly before the next tournament, hoping to find a way to grow strong enough to avenge them. 61 115

Lin Feng encountered her near the Extreme Dao Saint Legacy Cave and recognized both her sealed Chaos Sacred Body and her status as a Venerable reincarnation. She joined the Divine Sword Sect as a Handyman Disciple, pledging lifelong service if he could restore her power. 60 61

Lin Feng gave her the Chaos Pill and Awakening Pill. The former unsealed her body, while the latter awakened her memories and inheritance.
