Michael went to confront Zeus while Primordial Celestial Venerable began searching through time and space, and the others returned to Chennan Pass fearing for Qiye’s fate.

• An Qingyu explained that Zeus’s gray-mist bubble had swallowed everything at the border, and he could not tell what had happened to Qiye and the others.
• Primordial Celestial Venerable arrived, learned what had happened, and identified Zeus as responsible for the vanished gray-mist fragment.
• Michael explained that the fragment belonged to the Key of Doors and had likely swept the missing people into an unknown temporal rift, whose location even Zeus could not predict.

As the group traveled toward the far side of the wall, Zuo Qing explained Great Xia’s succession plan and revealed that Lin Qiye had been left on National Destiny Island because of An Qingyu.

• Lingbao Tianzun guided the Primordial Dao Boat into the River of Time, and True Lord Yu Ding told Lin Qiye that Tianzun had chosen to accompany them so he could help save them.
