They looked exactly like the demons of legend.

Their eyes were tightly shut, while countless red worms writhed within the fleshy tumors on their foreheads, forming eerie eyes that stared fixedly at Lin Qiye and the other two.

Gray light flickered in An Qingyu's eyes. His brows were tightly furrowed, as if he were pondering something.
Just as he was about to say something, several enormous black silhouettes emerged one after another from the surrounding clouds. The buzzing of their fleshy wings shook the air, and one thick crimson tail tore through the sky, smashing into the Somersault Cloud with a howl and forcibly dispersing it.
Without anything beneath their feet, the three immediately plummeted toward the hell below.
The demons flapping their fleshy wings in the sky had no intention of letting them go. One after another, they dove toward them at astonishing speed.
"Qingyu!" Lin Qiye shouted in midair.
An Qingyu's gaze sharpened. He forcefully clapped his hands together before his chest, and vast amounts of purple mist surged wildly from his sleeves, instantly concealing the three of them and sweeping in the many demons diving down from the sky.
The moment they crashed into the purple mist, the demons lost sight of the three. The red Worm Eyes on their foreheads spun frantically, trying to find Lin Qiye and the others amid the endless purple haze.
Within the highly concentrated mental pollution, the three held their
