Lin Qiye nodded slightly.
"You're the Commander-in-Chief of the Night Watchmen now, not the captain of Nightfall... You need to hold the fort in Great Xia. As for matters in the mist, don't the Knights and Demons, the two Special Squads, share the burden?"
"If it really comes down to it, just have King Mask go with them. With his ability, he can at least ensure they return alive."
"I've already done that... but I'm still worried." Lin Qiye paused for a moment.
"Besides, it's time we properly settled our score with Olympus..."
"You want to make a move against Olympus?"
"That's right."
Seeing how decisively Lin Qiye answered, Destiny Monk frowned slightly. Rather than replying, he asked:
"Have An Qingyu and those Lovecraftian Gods been found?"
"No. My angel clone has been monitoring the mist from above Earth, but it has never detected any sign of them... Over the past four years, it's as if they vanished."
"They couldn't have vanished. They must be hiding somewhere we don't know, secretly plotting something... Olympus is not much of a threat to us, and those Outer Gods wandering the mist are even less so. What we truly fear are the Cthulhu deities hidden in the darkness. If the mist is a mountain, then Olympus and those Outer Gods are the snakes, insects, tigers, and leopards lurking upon it. No one knows whether there is a hunter behind them, shotgun in hand, waiting for an opportunity."
"But if we want to face the hunter head-on, we must first clear out those troublesome creatures, mustn't we?" Lin Qiye said gravely. "If we don't eliminate the snakes, insects, tigers, and leopards, no one knows when they might turn around and bite us. As long as they remain, we can never truly act without restraint...
