Fire Devouring Dragon

The entire team was utterly speechless before Ye Chen.

His best friend, Wang Zuoshou, added, "Brother Ye, are you going with a slider or a flip phone?"

Ye Chen: "..."

"Touchscreens are more advanced." Bei Li, who had been silently watching from the side, chimed in at that moment.

The moment they emerged from the cave, a fierce gale and scorching heat slammed into them.

Looking up, they saw a massive fire dragon diving down in the distance. Beneath it, more than ten Players were sprinting for their lives, and the Player in front was clutching a fiery red egg.

"Brothers, save us! Save us!" The leading Player was overjoyed when he spotted Ye Xue'er and the others. He immediately changed direction and ran toward them.

"Holy shit, brother, don't come over here!"

"Fuck your brother! Why don't you get the first kill yourself? If you come any closer, I'll kill you, believe it or not!" Ye Chen shouted.

The Players on Ye Xue'er's side stared at the ever-nearing dragon and howled desperately, hoping those egg-stealing bastards would not drag them down with them.

"Quick, into the cave!"

Seeing the fire dragon closing in, Ye Xue'er immediately led the group back into the cave.

Less than five seconds later, the ground shook violently, and broken stones began raining down from above.

"Roar!" The dragon's bellow rang out from outside.

The cave shook again. It trembled, and the falling debris grew denser.

After everyone staggered and regained their footing, they realized three Players had appeared beside them.

Both sides stared at the Player holding the dragon egg in silence for several seconds. Then Ye Chen slowly raised his greatsword.

The dragon egg shimmered with light, and a faint, immature dragon cry echoed from within. At that moment, Ye Xue'er was tempted.

Robbing and killing were her specialty, so she did not stop Ye Chen from acting.

"Brother, let's talk this out. Don't make a move," the leading Berserker said with an awkward smile, pulling the hand holding the dragon egg behind his back.

"Hand over the egg!" Ye Xue'er drew her dagger and said without ceremony.

The leading Berserker felt like crying. After stealing the egg, his team had thought they would be safe as long as they ran far enough. They had never expected the dragon egg could not be stored in their private spaces. Once the fire dragon discovered its egg had been stolen, it followed the egg's scent all the way after them.

By now, only three members of his team remained. If a fight broke out, he knew they were no match for Ye Xue'er and the others.

As he looked at Ye Xue'er's group, poised to attack, the leading Berserker's mouth twitched twice. Just as he was about to start talking his way out of it, his body lurched to one side as the cave began shaking again.

This tremor was even more violent than before. Accompanied by the dragon's roars, the entire cave seemed ready to fall apart as it swayed wildly.

This time, it was not rubble falling from above.

It was boulders.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

One Player after another was buried beneath the falling boulders, while the shaking intensified. Clearly, the fire dragon outside had gone completely mad.

At that moment, Ye Xue'er lunged forward. Taking the opportunity, she kicked the Berserker holding the dragon egg to the ground and snatched the egg from his hand.

The Berserker's eyes nearly split with rage. Their team had practically been wiped out for this dragon egg, and he did not even need to think to know that it had to be incredibly valuable.

But just as he tried to get up and seize it back, a massive boulder fell from above and smashed down hard onto him...

At that critical moment, a clear dragon cry emerged from the egg, and fiery red light began flowing across its shell.

"Bang!" The eggshell shattered, and an adorably dazed Little Fire Dragon flew out from inside.

"Awoo~ Awoo~" The Little Fire Dragon tilted its head back and chirped happily the moment it appeared.

"Smack!" Ye Xue'er grabbed the Little Fire Dragon by the neck and held it up before her.

Still unwilling to give up, Ye Xue'er tried once again to stuff the Little Fire Dragon into her private space.

This time, something astonishing happened. The Little Fire Dragon turned into a streak of light and entered her body, disappearing.

At the same time as the announcement appeared, another roar came from outside the cave. Then the cave completely collapsed, and Ye Xue'er was buried beneath the falling rocks.
