Shadow King's Legacy

Understanding the meaning behind Shadow Kill's words, the Sea King could not help but nod.

Although he did intend to replace the Yellow Springs Merchant Guild, openly becoming its enemy now was clearly unrealistic.

At present, he was merely the War Merchant Guild attached to the Yellow Springs Sea Region branch. Not only did he lack the strength, he did not even have the standing!

So Shadow Kill's meaning was clear: if he wanted to use the Shadow Legion's power, he would have to wait until he was strong enough.

Thinking of this, the Sea King could not help rolling his eyes.

He suddenly felt as though he had obtained an enormous treasure but could not use it, leaving him with nothing to do but stare at it in frustration.

"Does this legacy have no other benefits?" the Sea King asked, somewhat unwilling to accept that.

Hearing this, Shadow Kill smiled and shook his head. Then, with a wave of his hand toward the Crystal Coffin, a black crystal floated out from within the opened coffin and slowly drifted into his palm.

After examining it carefully, a trace of nostalgia appeared in Shadow Kill's eyes. He then gently pushed the crystal toward the Sea King.

"This is the Shadow King's life's work. Once you receive his legacy, you will become the new Shadow King and may command the Shadow Legion at will. As long as you wish it, the Shadow Legion can emerge at any time. However, I still hope you will consider it carefully!"

The Sea King nodded, then reached out and took the black crystal floating before him.

The instant his fingers touched the crystal, it suddenly dispersed into specks of starlight that spread outward. Then, as if summoned, all the starlight gathered and surged toward the Sea
