Two thousand years ago, the Ten Thousand Mountain Minor Realm had belonged to the Immortal Sect and was seized during the civil war among the Eight Great Immortal Sects.
About a century later, Xu Yan, the Xu Clan Nascent Soul, was beguiled by a Xuanwu Heavenly Palace Great Power. Driven by his own desire for Void Refinement and confidence in his talent and wisdom, he brazenly launched a rebellion. He successfully severed the Ten Thousand Mountain Minor Realm and the Wang Realm from the Immortal Sect, becoming the lord of a realm.
