Background / History
The Immortal Sect originated on Lan Ying Star, where its early immortal-path inheritance came from clandestinely studying the outside cultivation world and eliminating scattered invaders. Its strongest cultivators were only Golden Core, leaving it unable to resist the Deity Transformation-level Blood Cloud Sect. After more than a century of resistance, billions died and the sect collapsed; Lan Ying Star became a lower realm whose citizens were enslaved as blood slaves and materials for the Blood Cloud Sect's cultivation and treasures 125.
For more than a thousand years, the surviving citizens rebuilt their organization in secrecy. Repeated clandestine actions, betrayals, and Blood Cloud Sect massacres destroyed many of these efforts, but the population continued accumulating resources and knowledge 125.
In the year 4785, the first sage, Yuan, used his soul as the key material for the first-generation Central Array Spirit Computer. The new system made the resistance harder to locate and destroy, while improving its capacity to anticipate threats and organize research 125. When Yuan neared death, Cong and later successors likewise merged their souls into the computer to preserve the sect's sole foundation until Wu's emergence 125.
Under Wu, the sect developed Law-Breaking Steel and optical array engraving machines, severed the planar passage linking Lan Ying Star to the Blood Cloud Sect, and created the Forbidden Nuclear Weapon · Hope. Hope killed the Blood Cloud Sect's new Deity Transformation Ancestor, ending the sect's condition of servitude and beginning a period of rapid development 125.

First Law
The Immortal Sect's First Law states that all knowledge within the sect belongs to all Immortal Sect citizens 452.
- Inheritance regulations were imposed after several civil wars in which powerful cultivators attempted to preserve family advantages by disrupting broader regional inheritance 22.
- Immortal Sect citizens cannot be slaves; military obligations and contracts do not override the sect's foundational civic status 178.
- Contributions are expected to receive rewards. The sect explicitly rejects the ideal of citizens acting as self-sacrificing sages without compensation 1171.
- Its moral standard emphasizes aligning personal interests with the sect's interests through lawful achievement, rather than demanding selfless devotion 1171.
Citizenship and Vassal Status
- Citizens receive access to the Citizen Network, the sect's principal educational, research, and resource system 1609.
- Subordinate civilizations use a separate network with fewer resources, less knowledge, and an advancement ceiling below that of citizens 1609.
- Ascended immigrants may obtain citizenship through assessments of merit, moral character, research ability, and innovation, though exceptionally talented immigrants are treated as potential long-term security risks 1219 1612.
- The Great Sun Deity Transformation Policy expands citizenship eligibility to exceptional talents from other races, provided they can integrate into Immortal Sect society 1359 1360.
Capabilities
Central Array Spirit Computer Network
The Central Array Spirit Computer and Immortal Sect citizens are mutually dependent: citizens sustain and develop the system, while the system supports their cultivation, coordination, and collective survival 1172.
- Coordinates commands, missions, and rewards across subordinate civilizations 1609.
- Protects citizen representatives during political deliberation 1359.

- By the Ancient God Domain era, its industrial nation spans forty-one realms, more than ten thousand worlds, and a population in the trillions 1612.
- Vassal races and sects supply specialized materials, labor, knowledge, and production capacity within a tightly managed division of labor 1606 1609.
- The incorporation of Youming Sword Cave Heaven techniques more than doubles the effectiveness of some sword-refining materials and increases their output tenfold 1609.
- Standardized pills, magical treasures, and talismans can be produced at prices far below local competitors, disrupting outside alchemists and artifact refiners 1482.
Citizen Fleet and Military Formations
The Immortal Sect relies on large citizen fleets, formation warfare, artillery, stealth units, and industrially supported logistics rather than solely on individual cultivators.
- Its fleet expanded beyond 150 million warships after the growth of its Deity Transformation cultivator population 1338.
- Its formations combine cultivator troops, warships, artillery, and specialized high-level cultivators into collective combat systems 1488 1570.
- The Ninth Aerospace Army employs the Six Paths of Reincarnation, Five Elements, Magnetic Void True Array for offensive operations and stealth during legion warp jumps 1488.
- Later Deep Space Fleets follow the Law Annihilation path and are staffed by elite talents selected from more than a million life planets 2104.
