The Mother Insect, over a thousand meters long and resembling an aircraft carrier, slammed into the Mother Tree at several times the speed of sound.

The earth split apart as slightly black tree roots, like giant python Magic Beasts over ten meters thick, burst from the ground.

Dense and countless, numbering in the thousands and tens of thousands, they shot skyward like a forest.

Even the protective aura that Demigods could not break was as fragile as if it did not exist before the Mother Tree's roots.

The flexible roots twisted like roaming dragons, wrapping around the Mother Insect's legs and coiling toward her entire body.

An instant later, the Mother Insect let out a low roar, and white shockwaves erupted around her.

Accompanied by a thunderous boom, they spread three kilometers outward.

Wherever the shockwaves passed, whether Demonic Beasts or Treants, anything below Demigod was pulverized into dust.

The Demigods were blasted backward, cracks spreading across their bodies.

The shockwaves hurled vast swathes of earth into the air.

Those chunks of land, dozens of meters across and over ten meters thick, broke apart and exploded after flying high into the sky, scattering as dust.

When the smoke cleared, a colossal black cage of tree roots had appeared upon the earth, trapping the Mother Insect.

Countless roots launched attacks within the enormous cage.

At times supple as silk, at times hard as steel, at times sharp as blades, at times pointed as arrows—the roots transformed into all eighteen weapons: entangling, twisting, whipping, stabbing, crashing, and shoving.

Every root moved at over fifty times the speed of sound.
