After Yun Ming killed Chen An’s family and destroyed Chen Yan’s chance of revival, Chen An returned to life with strange dragon powers and joined Gu Yue Na’s plan against humanity. He traveled with her to Mingdu, awakened a metal-based Martial Soul, began forging, and ended the stretch defeated by her in a sparring match but determined to improve.

• Chen An watched helplessly as Yun Ming killed Chen Feng and Chen Yan, then awoke underground as a Dragon of Death and joined Gu Yue Na’s plan to oppose humanity.
• Chen An helped Gu Yue Na reconsider splitting her consciousness, vowed revenge on Yun Ming, and agreed to help her while claiming to have lost his memories.

Chen An and Gu Yue Na joined Sun Moon Royal Academy, where their extraordinary abilities earned them recognition, training, and powerful rewards. After tying for first in the freshman tournament, Chen An advanced rapidly through cultivation and Soul Tool studies, reaching Level Nineteen.

Chen An developed a spiritual Martial Soul and used the Soul-Seizing Bell to help Gu Yue Na absorb Na Er, then traveled with her to Eastsea City to claim a Dark Gold Terrorclaw Dragon Emperor’s Spirit Bone. Their journey ended in a confrontation with Tang Wulin and his companions, whom Gu Yue Na killed inside the Spirit Ascension Platform.

• Chen An hunted spiritual Soul Beasts in the Spirit Ascension Platform, filled the Creation Holy Tree’s third fruit, and formed the Three-Eyed Golden Lion Martial Soul and Soul-Seizing Bell.
• Chen An used the Soul-Seizing Bell to enter Gu Yue Na’s mind and persuade Na Er to merge after Gu Yue Na promised not to harm Tang Wulin.

• Tang Wulin recognized Gu Yue Na’s voice and approached her, but she rejected his claims that she was Na Er and killed him with a four-element beam.
• Xie Xie and the others attacked Gu Yue Na after Tang Wulin fell, and she killed Wang Jinxi before defeating the remaining two youths.

Chen An and Gu Yue Na killed Wu Zhangkong after he attacked them again, then faced Tang Sect and Shrek Academy scrutiny. Leng Yaozhu protected them from Zhuo Shi and Feng Wuyu at Eastsea Train Station, where the confrontation escalated into a battle.

• Wu Zhangkong attacked Chen An and Gu Yue Na, but the Branch Pagoda Master stopped him and let them carve him before expelling him from the Spirit Pagoda.
• Chen An and Gu Yue Na visited the seaside, where Wu Zhangkong found them again and Bear Monarch restrained him while Chen An delivered the fatal stab.
• The Tang Sect and Shrek Academy investigated Wu Zhangkong’s death as Gu Yue Na ordered Bear Monarch to keep the soul beasts’ involvement concealed.
• Deputy Hall Master Luo tried to arrest Chen An, but the Branch Pagoda Master intervened, and Chen An then beat Tang Wulin after he confronted Gu Yue Na about Na Er.
• Leng Yaozhu arrived to take Chen An and Gu Yue Na to Mingdu, but Zhuo Shi and Feng Wuyu confronted them at Eastsea Train Station.
• Zhuo Shi attacked Chen An and Gu Yue Na, and Leng Yaozhu protected them with her Four-Word Battle Armor before clashing with Zhuo Shi and Feng Wuyu.
