Valleys, crevices—when she encountered mountain streams, she had to find ice bridges spanning the chasms to reach the other side. To climb the Sky Pillar of Kunlun Divine Mountain, one had to keep both feet on solid ground.
Perhaps she could have flown up with magic and still reached the summit.
But Bai Yujun was a dragon. She still remembered the help Jade Dragon Snow Mountain had given her when she transformed into a flood dragon. She held mountains and rivers in reverence. Of course, that was merely her own conviction.

When Bai Yujun arrived at the bluestone ruins platform and looked up at the Sky Pillar, her brows and hair were already crusted with white frost.
She lifted her snow-covered hood and exhaled a breath of warm air.
"So this is what the Sky Pillar looks like. The Ancestor Dragon Vein is already very close. Say... how exactly did this Sky Pillar come to be? I fear even the Ancient Mythical Beasts of the Kunlun Ruins never had the chance to witness it up close, right?"
