With both hands clutching his head, he bent over, trembling in suppressed agony. In the fiery-red palace, a pained figure sat upon the dragon throne. Bai Yujun floated quietly in the air, looking at one of her kind—and at a prisoner in a cage.
A fiery-red mountain rose high, molten lava of searing dark crimson flowing across its summit.
Who in this world could have imagined the true sight of the Dragon Palace?
Her beautiful eyes blinked.
"This junior is Bai Yujun, from the Dragon Sleep Lesser World. May I ask this senior's name?"
At her words, the azure Divine Dragon raised his head and steadied his breathing, studying Bai Yujun carefully and seriously.
He slowly spoke.
"My name is Qing Shao, of the East Sea Dragon Clan."
In truth, Bai Yujun had many questions she wanted to ask.
But seeing Qing Shao so tightly reined in, she could not bring herself to ask. Aside from their species, they had no connection at all; some things simply could not be asked. Qing Shao forced a smile.
"I have heard much about you. You may have many questions, but before that, meet the other three. Mm... their tempers may not be very good. It is not because they have been imprisoned for too long, but because of your origins."
The implication in his tone was clear, and Bai Yujun understood it all.
Nothing more than a wild dragon transformed from a Lower Realm Snake-Dragon.
