"Stop her!"
The Imperial Dynasty official who had cried for help had nowhere left to retreat. He had intended to move the box aside to keep it from being damaged, but after a moment's thought, he decisively raised it in front of himself. Perhaps he had made his choice between his own life and someone else's property.

The rust-speckled straight saber exerted force in tandem.

A dent appeared in the flowing shield. With a piercing grinding shriek, several cracks formed. The young man fighting Little Stone immediately noticed the anomaly. Turning to look, he was so furious he nearly set every human Imperial Dynasty cultivator present ablaze.
"Incompetent! Trash! A bunch of trash!"
The cultivators who had been cursed ignored their companions whose life force was fading away and separately attacked Feng Ying and the saber locked in stalemate.
Unable to breach the box's defenses in a short time, the straight saber had no choice but to give up. It nimbly circled back into Feng Ying's hand, while Feng Ying, still out of control, once again unleashed various saber techniques at her enemies, forcing the official clutching the box to retreat again and again.
