In the ancient pine forest, flocks of white egrets took flight.
The egrets flew over rice paddies and past the mountains. Wind swept through the peach grove, carrying a stream of pink-white peach petals that danced and whirled with the breeze, brushing past the egrets and thin mist as they drifted toward the three cyan mountains in the distance.
Bai Yujun stood at the cliff's edge atop the peak, watching the dancing petals float away. White egrets dotted the needle-green rice shoots.
