Zhen Bei had not expected the army to advance faster than planned. Aside from a few hard bones in various regions, the rest could be crushed by sending a few ships. Starships attacked cities while Heavenly Soldiers and Generals battle formations routed scattered cultivators. It was all so boring, so utterly flavorless.
The anticipated participation of the various Immortal Domains had not happened. The serious criminals inside the bracelet space howled anxiously.
Rather than an expedition, it was more like taking people in.
Holding a coffee, Zhen Bei walked to the pilot seats and stood behind the two starship pilots.
Below lay the camp of a certain Imperial Dynasty's local army. The commanding general and officials had fled long ago, and the elite cultivators had vanished without a trace. What remained were tens of thousands of bewildered soldiers—actually poor young men temporarily conscripted from all over. By the look of them, they had not eaten for two days.
A logistics ship landed. Several hundred Heavenly Soldiers maintained order while immortal officials set up tables, took photographs, made identification documents, and distributed dry rations and travel money for the journey home.
They were all impoverished people at the bottom, the pillars of their households. It had not been easy for their parents to raise them to adulthood. There was no need to slaughter them all like Hellish Evil Ghosts. They deserved to live well.
After lingering briefly, the fleet continued onward. Small Flying Devices streaked past the portholes, heading ahead to search and scout.
What worried Zhen Bei was the possibility that the various Immortal Domains would suddenly interfere.
Those people could not be underestimated. Fortunately, the Demon Realm had been dealt with beforehand. Otherwise, the Devil Race would certainly have been the first to rush out and cause trouble at
