Bai Yujun held a long staff still radiating residual heat as she demonstrated.
The staff was black, densely covered in fine silver-white patterns. A dragon scale had been fused into it during forging. Both ends were golden, with golden dragons coiling around them, roaring so vividly they seemed alive, accompanied by lifelike Auspicious Clouds patterns. She had painstakingly forged it solely to satisfy a curiosity from years ago, and it gave her a tremendous sense of accomplishment.
As long as one was strong enough, anyone could be the Great Sage Equal to Heaven.
She held up the Ruyi Jingu Bang and struck several poses, yet somehow felt that something was missing.
The monkey was so anxious he scratched his ears and cheeks, his monkey eyes fixed on the Ruyi Jingu Bang. Yet he did not ask for it. He truly was loyal enough not to rudely snatch things from a friend.
The Ruyi Jingu Bang, perhaps having only just come out of the forge, sent up curling wisps of green smoke.

Bai Yujun tossed the imitation Ruyi Jingu Bang into the monkey's hands.
"From now on, it is yours. I hope it will help you punish evil, uphold good, and carve out a resounding reputation. There is no need to battle Heaven and fight Earth—simply protect the faith in your heart."
The monkey spread his
