Bai Yujun swore that she would rather dig wells in the desert than remain within Ghost Rock Village's territory.
Ghost Rock Village was named for the towering cliff behind the village. It looked as though a giant had carved a strange, vicious skull into its face. Since it faced north and received too little sunlight, it gave off a grim, chilling air. The Black tribe village simply named itself Ghost Rock Village. Poison corpses had spread out of control, trees and flowers had withered, and countless poison corpses gathered outside the village walls, howling and climbing.
The surviving people of Ghost Rock Village clustered atop the towering walls, watching the huge white creature in the sky with terror. Legend said it was the sacred beast of Cloud Remote Ancient Village and several other White tribe villages.
Rumor had it that the enormous creature could smash city walls apart with a swipe of its claws, devour dozens of people in a single bite, and that its scales were harder than shields while its teeth were sharper than spears!
The chiefs and priests of the two villages met atop the mountain. Bai Yujun carried Mu Duo on her head as she circled in the distance. In any case, Bai Yujun absolutely would not get too close; she would stay at least within a safe range. Safety came first.
"Are you wondering why the Black tribe villages are so strange? It is because all they worship are evil gods. They dislike sunlight, and after worshipping them for so long, they naturally became tainted by this gloomy evil aura."
Mu Duo seemed to be explaining things to Bai Yujun. Bai Yujun did not speak; in her true form, her voice was far too loud.
"Actually, not all Black tribe mountain folk are bad people.
