Chapters 151–175 Vol. 2 Read

Ch. 151The Bigger Picture Comes First

Wang Wu rescued the poisoned North Mountain Great King from a Five Poisons Spirit Energy mist but was forced to wait outside the protected area for Grandpa Tree's branch saplings. He eventually eradicated the toxin with his Ice-Fire Dual Spirit Root, gaining new resistances and greater bloodline growth.

  • Wang Wu carried the rotting North Mountain Great King out of the poisonous mist while demon soldiers let him pass after hearing that the Great King had been poisoned.
  • Demon soldiers acting under Snow Wolf General's orders barred Wang Wu from approaching Grandpa Tree's branch saplings, so he retreated and watched his Self-Healing Talent build toxin resistance.
  • Wang Wu used his Ice-Fire Dual Spirit Root to stop the Five Poisons Spirit Energy from damaging him, then scraped poisoned flesh from North Mountain Great King's body to help remove the toxin.
  • Wang Wu spent more than ten hours clearing the remaining Five Poisons Spirit Energy with Ice Spirit Energy and Crimson Flame Spirit Energy.
  • Wang Wu gained bloodline evolution, Demon King Level Toxin Resistance, resistance to five prerequisite toxins, and increased Special Growth Rate.

Ch. 152North Mountain Great King

Wang Wu saved the North Mountain Great King and became its subordinate after it recovered from its injuries. The Great King led him toward Grandpa Tree's branch sapling, where a new attack on the human formation was ordered.

  • Wang Wu carried the unconscious North Mountain Great King out of the poisonous mist and gathered demon corpses as food for it.
  • The North Mountain Great King shed its ruined body, recovered its strength with Spirit Pills, and offered Wang Wu a choice between becoming its subordinate or receiving a Spirit Pill and leaving.
  • Wang Wu chose to follow the North Mountain Great King, ate the corpses it gave him, and upgraded his Bronze Head Iron Bones secret technique.
  • The North Mountain Great King led Wang Wu past newly arrived Death Seekers Camp recruits and told him to wait outside Grandpa Tree's branch sapling.
  • A commanding voice ordered all troops to attack the human grand formation and commanded the Death Seekers Camp to take its positions and charge.

Ch. 153Battle to the Death

Wang Wu joined North Mountain Great King’s army as the Demon Race launched a desperate assault on the human formation. The Death Seekers Camp broke through two layers at terrible cost, and North Mountain Great King led the remaining forces into battle.

  • North Mountain Great King assembled its legions, ordered them to fight to the death, and used a magical banner to grant them Vitality Points.
  • Wang Wu followed the North Mountain Legion past Little Mountain Pig and saw other Great Kings gather their armies while the human formation faced the million-strong Death Seekers Camp.
  • The Death Seekers Camp activated its seals and charged as the Sword Light Bead Curtain Array devastated its ranks and the human formation revealed itself.
  • The Death Seekers Camp broke through the formation’s first two defenses, losing most of its soldiers in the assault.
  • North Mountain Great King, South Mountain Great King, Black Mountain King, and other local demons led their forces in a full-scale charge.

Ch. 154Heaven Realm

Wang Wu was caught in a devastating clash after the Humans activated a teleportation formation and a Heaven Realm cultivator unleashed a sword strike across the battlefield. He fell near death, then heard Little Mountain Pig and a cow-voiced demon arrive and argue that he could still be saved.

  • The Black Mountain King broke through the Human defenses, but a Myriad Poisons Sect attack devastated the Black Mountain Legion and drove him into hiding.
  • The Humans activated a teleportation formation, prompting the North Mountain Great King, South Mountain Great King, and Black Mountain King to press their attack.
  • A blinding flash struck the battlefield, and Wang Wu suffered severe injuries from residual sword qi as the attack killed millions of demons and a hundred thousand Humans.
  • General Ape Duke fought Lu Wuchen and retreated as the battle moved hundreds of miles away, while Wang Wu lost consciousness.
  • Little Mountain Pig found Wang Wu and called him dead, but an unfamiliar cow-voiced demon insisted he was only playing dead and could be saved.

Ch. 155Deception Is Never Too Much in War

Wang Wu awoke at Heavenly Dao Mountain and learned from Old Ox's sister how the survivors escaped Great Snow Mountain and why humans had hunted the Western Wilderness demons for centuries. He remained with the survivors, newly informed about his suspected Ancient Bear King lineage and the ruthless logic of war.

  • Wang Wu woke in a Black Spider's web at Heavenly Dao Mountain, where Old Ox, Old Ox's sister, and Little Mountain Pig had brought him after rescuing him.
  • Old Ox's sister named him Xiong Wu, explained that they had escaped because they anticipated Lu Wuchen's attack, and revealed that she suspected he was a descendant of the Ancient Bear King.
  • Old Ox's sister told Wang Wu that Lu Wuchen had hunted demons capable of becoming Demon Emperors, killed the Ancient Bear King's family, and forced the remaining Great Kings to plan for their bloodlines' survival.
  • Old Ox's sister explained that the group escaped underground with Snow Wolf General's help, though Snow Wolf General died, and they fled to Mad Tiger King's territory while Lu Wuchen pursued General Ape Duke.
  • When Wang Wu questioned Lu Wuchen's slaughter, Old Ox's sister argued that war demanded deception and every available tactic.

Ch. 156The Collapsing Pig

Wang Wu learned how human influence threatened the demons of the Western Wilderness and challenged Old Ox and Little Mountain Pig to prove that ordinary demon bloodlines could reach the peak. He began the challenge by using his Companion Demonic Vine to paralyze Old Ox.

  • Old Ox's sister explained how humans had encroached on the Western Wilderness and urged Wang Wu to join Heavenly Dao Mountain Academy, then berated the trio and left.
  • Old Ox suspected a spirit beast among their group, while he and Little Mountain Pig discussed humans' blood replacement that could turn demons into long-lived, controlled spirit beasts.
  • Little Mountain Pig lamented that learning about the world had shattered his Dao heart, and Wang Wu argued that humans would also betray their principles for a longer life.
  • Wang Wu bet that ordinary Demon Race bloodlines could stand atop the world, and Old Ox and Little Mountain Pig accepted the challenge.
  • Old Ox led Wang Wu and Little Mountain Pig to a concealed forest shelter, where Wang Wu's Companion Demonic Vine injected him with paralysis toxin and dropped him.

Ch. 157The Collapsing Bull

Wang Wu subdued Old Ox and the Little Mountain Pig with his Companion Demonic Vine, then cultivated his Ice-Fire Dual Spirit Root while they recovered. After paralyzing Old Ox’s sister when she charged into the Vine Secret Realm, he fled into concealment and reflected on the Western Wilderness’s precarious state.

  • Wang Wu assessed Old Ox’s injuries and paralysis, then injected the Little Mountain Pig with a small dose of toxin and knocked it unconscious.
  • Wang Wu spent three days cultivating his Ice-Fire Dual Spirit Root while Old Ox and the Little Mountain Pig recovered.
  • Old Ox admitted defeat and explained his astonishment at Wang Wu’s Companion Demonic Vine.
  • Old Ox’s sister charged into the Vine Secret Realm, and Wang Wu paralyzed her with the vine.
  • Wang Wu told Old Ox and the Little Mountain Pig to return in a month for more poison exposure, then hid nearby and left when Old Ox’s sister woke and cursed him.
  • Wang Wu traveled away in concealment and considered the divisions and dangers threatening the Western Wilderness.

Ch. 158Demon Race Seed

Wang Wu met Old Ox's group and learned that they wanted him to join a team protecting Bear Sixteen as they traveled toward the Black Forest. After hearing why the Demon Race was hiding from human cultivators, Wang Wu faced a choice about joining their mission.

  • Wang Wu hid near the meeting place, then revealed himself after Old Ox's sister offered three Golden Lightning Talismans in exchange for his Paralysis Toxin.
  • Old Ox's sister introduced Wolf Bu'er, Ape Bupuo, and Bear Sixteen, explaining their prominent lineages and that Bear Sixteen was their mission's priority.
  • Wolf Bu'er used her Wolf Glance to probe Wang Wu, while Ape Bupuo described Wang Wu's talents and invited him to join the team heading west to the Black Forest.
  • Ape Bupuo challenged Wang Wu to test Bear Sixteen and offered him the chance to take Bear Sixteen's place, but Wang Wu doubted his ability to win.
  • Wang Wu asked why the Great Ape King had not sent Ape Lord or Snow Wolf General to protect Bear Sixteen, and Ape Bupuo explained that human cultivators tracked demons with the Sky-Gazing Compass.
  • Ape Bupuo revealed that the team was part of a secret effort to send young demons toward the Black Forest and escape human persecution.

Ch. 159Lightning Resistance

Wang Wu joined Ape Bupuo’s team and endured their training with Deep Freeze and Golden Lightning Talismans, gaining his first point of Lightning Resistance. He tested his Companion Demonic Vine on the others and learned about Ape Bupuo’s secret-eavesdropping companion creature, then declined Ape Bupuo’s invitation to spar.

  • Wang Wu agreed to travel with Ape Bupuo’s team, which planned to head for the Black Forest in winter after further training.
  • Ape Bupuo and Wolf Bu’er used Golden Lightning Talismans and Deep Freeze to test the team’s lightning resistance, badly injuring Little Mountain Pig.
  • After repeated exposure, Wang Wu gained one point of Lightning Resistance and discovered its maximum was 10,000 points.
  • Wang Wu tested his Companion Demonic Vine on Ape Bupuo, Wolf Bu’er, Old Ox, and Niu Xiaocao, paralyzing several of them with its toxin.
  • Ape Bupuo revealed that his companion spirit creature was a snail that could eavesdrop on whispered secrets within a hundred li.
  • Wang Wu refused Ape Bupuo’s offer to spar, and Ape Bupuo praised his restraint.

Ch. 160A Word Is a Bond

Wolf Bu'er gave Wang Wu a restorative pill that let his Companion Demonic Vine advance twice, but his first test of its new power nearly killed her. Bear Sixteen saved her, and Ape Bupuo then asked Wang Wu to test the vine on him.

  • Wolf Bu'er recovered from the Paralysis Toxin, gave Wang Wu an eighth-grade Situational Vitality Pill, and asked Ape Bupuo and Bear Sixteen to keep watch.
  • Wang Wu used the pill's vitality to advance his Companion Demonic Vine to the third stage, greatly increasing its toxin and defensive abilities.
  • At Wolf Bu'er's insistence, Wang Wu tested the vine, which injected her with nearly 200 points of Paralysis Toxin and left her near death.
  • Bear Sixteen gave Wolf Bu'er an antidote and revealed that his words carried a Mind-Bewitching Secret Art that Ape Bupuo warned could affect Wang Wu.
  • Ape Bupuo reassured Wang Wu that Wolf Bu'er had been reckless, then asked to test the Companion Demonic Vine himself.

Ch. 161This Godfather Is Really Worth Having

Wang Wu's Companion Demonic Vine badly poisoned Ape Bupuo during a test, and Bear Sixteen gave Wang Wu an eighth-grade Situational Vitality Pill. Wang Wu used his Internal Breathing Technique to circulate the surplus Vitality Points and entered Passive Concealment, while Ape Bupuo and Bear Sixteen discussed the vine's power.

  • Wang Wu reluctantly let his third-stage Companion Demonic Vine test itself on Ape Bupuo, but it pierced his eyes, ear, and nostrils and paralyzed him with venom.
  • Wang Wu tried to escape Bear Sixteen's attention, but Bear Sixteen offered him an eighth-grade Situational Vitality Pill, which Wang Wu swallowed without sharing its Vitality Points with the vine.
  • Wang Wu climbed a tree to stand watch and used his Internal Breathing Technique to circulate and consume the pill's excess Vitality Points.
  • Wang Wu became fully absorbed in his breathing practice and entered Passive Concealment, disappearing from Bear Sixteen's sight.
  • Ape Bupuo asked Bear Sixteen for a pill, then guessed that Bear Sixteen had given Wang Wu the last one to pressure him into relying on his Companion Demonic Vine.

Ch. 162Seeking Truth from Facts

Wang Wu used the Internal Breathing Technique to circulate 90% of his Vitality Points and created three mobile vitality hubs that improved his control and capacity. When he emerged at daybreak, the other demons mistakenly believed he had spent nine days and nights failing to condense an Aperture-Opening Demon Core, leaving him baffled by their pity.

  • Wang Wu circulated his Vitality Points with the Internal Breathing Technique until 90% flowed through his body.
  • Wang Wu formed three vitality conversion hubs and decided to refine their system rather than merge them into a demon core.
  • Wang Wu finished cultivating at daybreak and found Ape Bupuo, Bear Sixteen, Wolf Bu'er, Niu Xiaohua, Niu Huanxi, and Zhu Tiezui waiting beneath the tree.
  • Bear Sixteen comforted Wang Wu over his supposed failure to condense an Aperture-Opening Demon Core, and Wang Wu tearfully called it his godfather.
  • Ape Bupuo shook Wang Wu out of his confusion and said the group believed he had agonized for nine days and nights over the failed attempt.

Ch. 163The Second Free Attribute Point

After recovering from the toxin adaptation, Wang Wu learned more about the stalemate at Great Snow Mountain and reviewed the gains from his recent breakthrough. He gained a Free Attribute Point and weighed whether to strengthen Bronze Head Iron Bones or develop another Bloodline Secret Technique.

  • Ape Bupuo told Wang Wu to recuperate, explained that frequent Paralysis Toxin adaptation could cause hidden injuries, and left Wolf Bu'er to guard him.
  • Niu Xiaocao said Wang Wu and his Companion Demonic Vine had helped the group earn the powerful demons' recognition, then explained that Lu Wuchen remained deadlocked with the Great Ape King at Great Snow Mountain.
  • Niu Xiaocao doubted Little Mountain Pig's potential, but Wang Wu defended Zhu Tiezui and asked him to gather ninth-grade Yellow Ginger.
  • Wang Wu checked his attribute panel and learned that his Self-Healing could activate twelve times consecutively, his Qi-Blood Circulation Tempering Technique had become a Bloodline Secret Technique, and his Bloodline Evolution had reached 42.2%.
  • Wang Wu found that he had gained one Free Attribute Point and considered upgrading Bronze Head Iron Bones, though its next level would require 20,000 spiritual energy.

Ch. 164Qi Condensation Transformation

Wang Wu chose to improve his stamina for the team and awakened the Qi Condensation Transformation secret technique, then selected Snake Demon Toxin to strengthen his Companion Demonic Vine. Little Mountain Pig returned with rare spiritual plants, and after eating them, Wang Wu extracted the toxin resistance as Wolf Bu'er began teaching the pig an Earth Spirit Root cultivation manual.

  • Wang Wu spent his Free Attribute Point on stamina and awakened Qi Condensation Transformation, which temporarily boosted his five basic attributes without side effects.
  • Wang Wu chose Snake Demon Toxin from the available branch bloodline talents to strengthen his Companion Demonic Vine.
  • Little Mountain Pig returned with a sack of spiritual plants, including an eighth-grade Yellow Ginseng that Wolf Bu'er offered to trade for an Earth Spirit Root cultivation manual fragment.
  • Wolf Bu'er began teaching Little Mountain Pig the manual fragment while Wang Wu ate six ninth-grade Yellow Ginseng roots and another spiritual plant.
  • Wang Wu extracted Snake Demon Toxin, and his Companion Demonic Vine eagerly responded to the new resistance.

Ch. 165Demonic Vine Advancement

Wang Wu smoothly fused Snake Demon Toxin Resistance and helped his Companion Demonic Vine advance to fifth rank. The vine’s new abilities left Wang Wu confident in its power, though his own new bloodline talent was relatively ordinary.

  • Wang Wu extracted and fused Snake Demon Toxin Resistance, then supplied the Companion Demonic Vine with Vitality Points to support its evolution.
  • The Companion Demonic Vine erupted into a vast forest, draining the surrounding plants and frightening Wolf Bu'er and the Little Mountain Pig.
  • Ape Bupuo told Wolf Bu'er that the vine had advanced after Wang Wu failed to condense an Aperture-Opening Demon Core and could no longer suppress its permissions.
  • The demonic vine forest withered away, and Wang Wu confirmed that the Companion Demonic Vine had become a fifth-rank sapling with Demon King-grade Mixed Toxin and new defensive abilities.
  • Wang Wu checked his new Passive Toxin Damage talent, which granted toxin resistance and let his weapon inflict toxin damage when it caused bleeding.

Ch. 166The Secret of the Forbidden Ground

Wang Wu and the others followed Ape Bupuo through the Mad Tiger King’s hidden mountain-protecting formation to a barren region beyond it. Ape Bupuo revealed that Bear Sixteen’s elder brother, Bear Twelve, had likely defected, and the group set out to find him and learn why.

  • Wang Wu dismissed his new affinity ability as nearly useless, while Ape Bupuo and the others congratulated him on advancing his Companion Demonic Vine.
  • Ape Bupuo carried Wang Wu, Wolf Bu'er, Niu Xiaocao, Old Ox, and Little Mountain Pig up a hidden chain route through the Mad Tiger King’s formation, where Bear Sixteen joined them.
  • The group crossed a desolate landscape and learned from Ape Bupuo that they had passed through a formation concealing the forbidden ground from dust and human armies.
  • Ape Bupuo disclosed that Bear Sixteen’s elder brother Bear Twelve, a rank-six bear demon, had almost certainly left voluntarily and defected.
  • Ape Bupuo explained that the team had been assembled to find Bear Twelve without alerting the Mad Tiger King, and that Wang Wu and the others had joined after Niu Xiaocao insisted on bringing them along.

Ch. 167Myriad Poisons Sect

Wang Wu and the others captured Bear Twelve, only for a Myriad Poisons Sect cultivator to trap them with a Soul Devouring Banner and reveal Bear Twelve’s betrayal. As the cultivator attacked Bear Sixteen with vengeful spirits, a sea of flames swept through the circle and drove the spirits back.

  • Ape Bupuo explained that Bear Sixteen could sense Bear Twelve and led the group in a plan to capture it at the forbidden grounds’ only exit.
  • Wang Wu, Ape Bupuo, and the others concealed themselves and waited until Bear Twelve emerged disguised as a rocky cliff.
  • Bear Twelve attacked Ape Bupuo, but Wang Wu’s Companion Demonic Vine poisoned it and drained 3,000 Vitality Points before Bear Sixteen stabilized it with antidotes.
  • A Soul Devouring Banner trapped the group, and gray figures seized the injured Bear Twelve as a Myriad Poisons Sect cultivator arrived and praised its betrayal.
  • The cultivator targeted Bear Sixteen and unleashed a tide of vengeful spirits, but a fireball spread into a sea of flames that scattered the gray clouds and drove the spirits back.

Ch. 168Terrorizing Sixteen

Wang Wu and the demons fought a Myriad Poisons Sect cultivator, whose attempt to claim Wang Wu as a spirit beast ended in Bear Sixteen turning the battle around and killing him. The demons left for the forbidden ground to recover, while Wang Wu recognized Bear Sixteen’s formidable power and influence.

  • Little Mountain Pig emerged from hiding, and Wolf Bu'er pinned him down as the Myriad Poisons Sect cultivator unleashed resentful spirits with his Soul Devouring Banner.
  • The cultivator sacrificed Bear Twelve through a Jade Pendant ritual, and the demons realized how human cultivators exploited spirit beasts.
  • The cultivator used Golden Lightning Talismans to expose Wang Wu and immobilize the demons, but Bear Sixteen’s commands forced him to sever his right hand and gouge out his right eye.
  • Bear Sixteen transformed into a giant bear and killed the cultivator, while the demons recovered from the lightning and pledged their allegiance to him.
  • Ape Bupuo proposed returning to the forbidden ground to recover for half a year before setting out again in winter.

Ch. 169Closed-Door Cultivation in the Forbidden Ground

Ape Bupuo gave Wang Wu and the others access to a Spiritual Essence Banner and laid out their cultivation goals in the forbidden ground. After exploring the area and restoring his vitality, Wang Wu began tempering his Destined Demonic Weapon with the Broken Sword, gaining Spirit Gold Qi at the cost of exhausting his Vitality Points.

  • Bear Sixteen gave Ape Bupuo a level-10 Spiritual Essence Banner, and Ape Bupuo let Wang Wu and the others use it while assigning them cultivation goals.
  • Little Mountain Pig, Niu Xiaocao, and Old Ox reflected on their weakness, while Wang Wu remained wary of Bear Sixteen and went to explore the forbidden ground.
  • Wang Wu confirmed that the forbidden ground had only one entrance and exit, hunted native Sprites, and restored his Vitality Points to 11,000.
  • Wang Wu used the Broken Sword to temper his bear claw, drawing out Spirit Gold Qi as its sword radiance repeatedly wounded him.
  • After three days and 3,000 strokes, Wang Wu had gained 85 Spirit Gold Qi, reached a Mortal Eighth-grade Destined Demonic Weapon, and spent all 11,000 Vitality Points.

Ch. 170A Word Is a Bond

Wang Wu returned to Wolf Bu'er, received his monthly supplies, and learned about Demon Race cultivation before helping Wolf Bu'er survive another Companion Demonic Vine poison test. After tempering Mysterious Iron, he learned that Wolf Bu'er's lineage growth limit had risen, and Ape Bupuo begged him to poison it too.

  • Wang Wu returned to Wolf Bu'er, collected two Ninth Rank Situational Vitality Pills and raw Mysterious Iron, and heard that Niu Huanxi and the Little Mountain Pig were advancing well in cultivation.
  • Wolf Bu'er explained the Aperture-Opening Demon Core and warned Wang Wu about the dangers of Black Forest, then agreed to another poison-resistance test.
  • Wang Wu injected Wolf Bu'er with toxin; when its condition worsened, he used the Companion Demonic Vine to remove the poison and stop the injury from progressing.
  • Wang Wu tempered the raw Mysterious Iron with his left forepaw, and Ape Bupuo praised his progress and urged him to condense an Aperture-Opening Demon Core.
  • Ape Bupuo told Wang Wu that Wolf Bu'er's Ancient Blood lineage growth limit had risen and asked Wang Wu to poison it to death so it could seek the same improvement.

Ch. 171Western Wilderness Four Heroes

Wang Wu strengthened his Destined Demonic Weapon and joined Ape Bupuo, Old Ox, and Little Mountain Pig in forming the Western Wilderness Four Heroes. The chapter ended with Wang Wu poisoning Ape Bupuo during their planned training and the group restraining him while Wang Wu’s Companion Demonic Vine pumped his stomach.

  • Wang Wu used six thousand Vitality Points to temper black iron for three days, raising his left front bear claw to Mortal Eighth-grade.
  • Ape Bupuo returned with Old Ox, whose Plant Command demon art delighted him and gave the Western Mountain Trinity hope of becoming the Western Wilderness Trinity.
  • Ape Bupuo, Old Ox, Wang Wu, and Little Mountain Pig became sworn brothers as the Western Wilderness Four Heroes, while Wolf Bu’er watched and supplied wine.
  • Ape Bupuo asked Wang Wu to attack him with the Companion Demonic Vine, and Wolf Bu’er first cut deep wounds into Ape Bupuo’s back.
  • Wang Wu injected three hundred points of mixed toxins into Ape Bupuo, who collapsed despite swallowing antidote pills.
  • Old Ox, Wang Wu, Little Mountain Pig, Wolf Bu’er, and Niu Xiaocao restrained the convulsing Ape Bupuo while Wang Wu’s vine pumped his stomach to recover toxins and vitality.

Ch. 172Mortal Fourth-grade

Wang Wu spent the peaceful months tempering his right paw, cultivating his Ice-Fire Dual Spirit Root, and gathering Spiritual Qi while his companions were away. As winter approached, his Myriad Transformation Wishful Demon Leaf advanced, and Bear Sixteen and Ape Bupuo returned with an unfamiliar Ancient Blood Demon Race squad.

  • Wang Wu took 5,000 Vitality Points from Ape Bupuo, left it recovering under Old Ox’s care, and slipped away from the river valley.
  • Wang Wu hunted Sprites and tempered his right front paw, reaching Mortal Fourth-grade and gaining a powerful purplish-golden claw phantom.
  • Wang Wu returned to find Ape Bupuo, Wolf Bu'er, Niu Xiaocao, Old Ox, and Little Mountain Pig gone, so he survived on meager Vitality Points and began cultivating his Ice-Fire Dual Spirit Root.
  • Wang Wu spent the next months gathering Spiritual Essence and cultivating; his Ice-Fire Dual Spirit Root reached Beginner Ice Spirit Root (4/10) and Beginner Fire Spirit Root (4/10).
  • As winter neared and he could no longer gather Vitality Points from vegetation, Wang Wu’s Myriad Transformation Wishful Demon Leaf advanced.
  • Bear Sixteen and Ape Bupuo appeared alongside an unfamiliar Ancient Blood Demon Race squad.

Ch. 173Eldest Nephew (Bonus Chapter for Alliance Leader Wuliang Mountain Dormitory Fifth, 1/10)

Bear Sixteen’s squad met Tiger Vanguard’s powerful Ancient Blood Demon Race companions, including Bear Big, who might be Wang Wu’s blood nephew. The two squads exchanged gifts, formed a travel plan, and set out together for the Black Forest.

  • Tiger Vanguard introduced his companions and greeted Wolf Bu’er, then presented Bear Big as another descendant of the Ancient Bear King.
  • Wang Wu suspected Bear Big was his eldest nephew, but Bear Big judged their kinship distant, while Tiger Vanguard’s Spiritual Essence test highlighted the difference between them.
  • Tiger Vanguard gave the demons Eighth Rank Situational Vitality Pills and magical armor, and the squads introduced themselves and discussed Wang Wu’s delayed breakthrough.
  • Bear Sixteen’s squad accepted Tiger Vanguard’s gifts, chose armor, and set out with Tiger Vanguard’s squad after reorganizing into groups for their journey.

Ch. 174Encounter Battle

Wang Wu and the demon squads encountered a Human cultivator hunting party near the Black Forest, and their ambush was exposed by a Palace Lantern and a temporary sword formation.
