Father and son silently looked at each other. After a moment, Eric gave his shoulder a heavy pat. "Go do what you want. Don't worry about your mother and me."

Eric smacked his solid back. "Weren't you going to Germany? Go downstairs and get something to eat first."
Vincent rubbed his nose. "Got it, dad. I might come back very late."
Eric waved him off. "Remember to call your employees. They've been standing guard outside all day, so they should be hungry too."
Vincent nodded and headed downstairs.
