Hogwarts Castle, steeped in medieval architectural style, had been personally designed by one of the greatest witches of the age, Rowena Ravenclaw.
The castle's one hundred and forty-two staircases, which appeared and vanished unpredictably and constantly shifted their routes, were all powered by powerful magic.
Even a simple portrait was a magical object that retained a great deal of its subject's personality from life.
"The entire Hogwarts Castle is a magical castle through and through."
Standing at the end of the Seventh Floor corridor, Percy had been giving the new students an extensive explanation for a full ten minutes.
"Isn't he annoying?" George, who had appeared from who knew where, lightly patted Vincent on the shoulder. "He's even more long-winded than the Fat Lady in that painting."
"Uh... isn't she the guard for our dormitory?"
Fred quietly approached Vincent, then suddenly leaped up and clung to his back.
"Mate, why didn't you react?"
Vincent pointed at George, whose face was full of mischief. "One of the benefits of being in sync."
"George, I hate that we're twin brothers!"
"Me too, Fred."
The grinning twins shoved Percy aside with their backsides.
"Dear brother, we're sleepy~"
Standing before the Fat Lady's portrait, they cheerfully gave the password: "Dragon dung!"
"Hey!" Percy was furious at the new students' unruly behavior.
As Gryffindor's prefect, how could he allow anyone to interrupt his educational explanation?
Just look at the bewildered younger students around the school. Even if they were his own brothers, it was unacceptable.
"Fred! George!"
Percy climbed through the large hole behind the Fat Lady's portrait. "I swear I'll write to Mum about this!"
"Dragon dung." Vincent repeated the password before going in.
"Child, you may enter."
The Fat Lady in the portrait widened her eyes at Neville, who was following behind him.
