Third floor of the castle.

Snape slipped into Quirrell's office with a complicated expression.

He knew about Dumbledore's arrangements, but he had never really believed a few students could pull this off.

Whatever Quirrell had been desperately covering that day had to be some earth-shattering secret.

Maybe it was a Death Eater's Dark Mark, or perhaps traces left behind by Dark Magic.

Suppressing his disgust, he placed a hand on the edge of the purple pajama pants.

After gently pulling them down, he aimed his wand at a certain spot.

Just as he was about to utter the spell, Quirrell suddenly opened his eyes.

"Ah!!!"

In the middle of the night, Snape had sneaked in, pulled down his pants, and aimed a wand at...

He was terrified.

"Sev—Severus, wh—what are you trying to do to me?"

Snape snorted through his large nose, then calmly put away his wand. "Nothing."

Quirrell froze briefly before leaping out of bed in a fury.

He was no longer the timid, cowardly man he had once been.

The current Quirinus Quirrell had to stand tall for good!

"Severus, I never thought you were this kind of person."

Those contempt-filled eyes made Snape raise his wand.

"Quirinus, stop looking at me like that."

Quirrell quietly hid his hand behind his back. "You never thought I would wake up, did you?

You sneaky bastard!"

Snape's face darkened as he enunciated each word. "Stop looking at me like that."

His right hand traced a half arc with his wand. "Expelliarmus!"

Quirrell lightly gripped his wand and used Nonverbal spells to neutralize the attack.

"Severus, don't force me."

The moment his wrist moved, Snape had already bent down and swung his wand toward the floor.

A mass of thorns burst from the ground and halted before a transparent barrier.
