Justice might be late, but it would never be absent.
In the Room of Requirement, Fred and George hung a banner bearing those words from the ceiling.
"Perfect!" The twins dusted off their hands and returned to their seats at the round table in the middle of the room.
Hermione, the chief planner of the operation, was taking inventory of their equipment. Vincent had brought back plenty of little gadgets from the Hong Kong Wizarding World, enough to give Umbridge an "unforgettable" night.
"Since we're dispensing justice," George said with a grin, grabbing an Extendable Ear from the round table, "why don't we call ourselves the Justice League from now on?"
Cedric twitched at the corner of his mouth. "Without Batman, what kind of Justice League are we?"
George aimed the Extendable Ear at his armpit and flicked the switch.
"Hey—stop messing around." Cedric squirmed in his chair. "I was just making a comment."
The Justice League could do without anyone except Batman.
George stopped fooling around and turned to Hermione. "Mrs. Wayne~ Do you want to contact Mr. Wayne? This operation can't go without him."
Hermione's face reddened as she glared at him. "He's been very busy lately. He probably doesn't have time to come back to school."
Fred opened the projection screen of the Magical Communicator and tapped Vincent's portrait.
A moment later, the video call connected, and a familiar face appeared on the screen.
Vincent, in the laboratory, glanced at the banner hanging from the ceiling. Combining that with The Daily Prophet's reports over the past few days, he quickly guessed what they planned to do tonight.
"Buddy~ We need your help."
"Sure."
Hermione hurriedly grabbed Fred's hand and turned the projection screen toward herself. "All the wizards are watching Hogwarts right now. If you're accidentally discovered..."
