Near midnight, Lucius returned to Malfoy Manor.

Draco and Narcissa were still awake, quietly waiting for him to come home.

"Don't make that face. It isn't anything serious."

Narcissa stepped forward and undid his robes.

With their son still there, she understood.

"Anyone with eyes can see our family's contributions to the Ministry of Magic. Neither Fudge nor Dumbledore can affect our family."

Lucius put away his Serpent-head Cane. "Draco, there aren't many days left of the holiday, are there?"

"Dad, four days left."

He sat down casually. "Get some rest early tonight. Tomorrow morning, your mother and I will take you to Diagon Alley."

As elegant and composed as ever, the all-powerful dad in his heart had returned.

Draco excitedly jumped off the sofa. "Dad, I want a Nimbus 2002!"

Cleansweep's Alpha I had performed so exceptionally that Nimbus had been forced to release its next-generation broom early.

Though their performance was evenly matched and their prices were nearly identical, it still couldn't compare to a custom model.

Lucius barely gave it any thought. "If we're buying one, we'll buy the best. Dad will have an Alpha I with the strongest performance custom-made for you tomorrow."

The Gryffindor team all rode Cleansweep products, and there had always been rumors that Vincent owned quite a few shares.

Having an Alpha I custom-made would be the same as funding the enemy.

"Draco, do you want to win?"

"Yes. I want it every moment of every day!"

Lucius reached out and stroked Draco's soft blond hair, combed perfectly neat across his forehead.

"For the honor that victory brings, any means are permitted."

Even if it was only 0.1 seconds, an advantage was still an advantage.

Rascal Rabbit's specifications were out in the open. Not just Draco—even national Quidditch teams around the world
